Clara's POV I held his hands so tight because I wanted to be there with him all through it. He was carried inside, the medicine man was called to treat his wounds. He was attended to as fast as possible. I left him there and went out of the house, I saw the bodies that were lying on the ground. I felt like throwing up, it brought me so many bad memories that I did not want to remember. People's cries were all over my ears, there was nothing I could do about it. I could not even shift to fight the people who had come to attack us and it made me feel so useless, like I had no reason to be there.
