Derek's POV-
Years passed, and I was beginning to know the meaning of the words that were said to me, tears back concerning my mate.
I stayed awake all through the night as the thought would not leave me; it wouldn't leave my head, and I was so worried about the things that were going to happen to me.
" This is not happening," I would say to myself because I was living in denial; nothing made sense to me.
" Is something wrong? You have been like this for a long time, and I am beginning to get worried; what is the problem?" Anna asked.
" It's nothing; go back to bed; I'm fine. There is nothing wrong with me" I said.
I watched and made sure she went back to her sleep. She is the reason I am in this mess.
