Derek's POV-
The day was still dark. It was morning already but there was still darkness all over the place.
My bags were already arranged, and I was ready to move; my soldiers had no idea about this. The only person who knew about this was Anna.
She helped me pack my things; I asked that she follow me so it could be the two of us. She did not agree to it at first, but she later agreed, and we found ourselves leaving the Pack.
The reason I had asked her to Join me was because my father might hold her down and force her to say where I had gone. I did not want that, so I asked her to join me instead.
I had money with me and we found a house to stay in. The hospital was close by. I quickly registered there, expecting that things were going to turn out differently for me.
