Chapter 13 Sito feels the Bang

Sito and Robin were now face to face with a very mascular man two times Sito's height. He was bold and topless, with a scar running down his left eye. His blue jeans were toren thanks to his previous fight with the other knights earlier and he had minor bruises even though he fought ten people at the same time.

"By the looks of your uniform. I gather that you are rookies." Bang stated as he scanned them. "You may not be much, but I feel like you'll be able to dance for a while before I start killing the rest of the weaklings."

"Who are you?" Robin asked. But before he answered the man had the greatest smile on his face. It showed his teeth which were all yellow and jagged.

"My name is Bang. Like the sound my attacks create!" He shouted, before firing a large number of explosions at them.

Just before Robin evaded the attack, she noticed a tattoo on the man's left arm. It looked like the sun and the moon were combining. Is that an eclipse? Robin questioned as the man lifted up his right hand in preparation of a second attack.

Meanwhile, when Sito dodged the attack, he saw that the villain was enjoying himself. Bang laughed so loud that it was hard not to notice if you were nearby. The boy grit his teeth before charging at Bang. While doing so, he activated his spell: 'sword of revealing light.'

"Before I forget. The is something I need to tell you." Bang stated, just before Sito was swarmed by a flock of white birds. "I'm not the the only thing you should worry about."

Sito used his giant sword to cut down the bird, however Bang was already on the offensive. The villain had sent an explosion blast towards Sito. Before his attack could touch the boy, a green vine wrapped around his waist and pulled him to safety.

Sito landed roughly next to Robin. "Don't be careless and attack him alone. This guy is very dangerous."

"Even so he is not as strong as Emanz. I can take him all by myself. I don't need your help." Sito stated as he slowly got up. "The only use I have for you is to keep those birds away from me. I'm sure they are Emanz doing."

I'm still not sure about this, but if he thinks he can win. Who am I to stop him. Robin smiled a bit.

"Fine then. You can deal with him, but I expect one thing from you." Robin spoke as she prepared to fight. Sito looked at her from the corner of his eyes.

"Don't worry, I will definitely win." Sito confidently spoke.

Sito created a long whip made from light magic, while Robin created one from her plant attribute. Robin's whip had little knots here and there which were decorated with flowers. Sito's on the other hand, looked like two ropes were bound together. "Finally you are ready to fight." Emanz stated

As this was happening, Becca and Pride were flying through the air. Both of them were attacking each other with their spells. It was difficult for an untrained eye to see them, but the occasional clash of spells revealed where they were.

During the fight the two were silent. None of them were willing to talk. This was due to them giving this fight the attention it needed.

Suddenly, Pride appeared behind Becca and she attempted to cut her with a sword made from her iron feathers. Like the wind, the wyvern squad third seat evaded it before kicking her opponent in the head.

For a second, Pride remembered a training session with a slander, tall woman. Her eyes were grey in color and unlike Pride she had six metallic wings. The two had finished training with the older woman tossing a bottle of water at a young Pride.

"Keep this up you'll one day be able to beat me. Who knows you might even raise the reputation of the clan." The person stated as she smiled gently.

" Yes Mom." Pride responded.

"But remember my child..." Pride was interrupted by Becca slamming her into the ground. She managed to evade the follow up attack before Becca could finish her off.

Why is it that when I fight Becca, I think of her? Pride questioned herself. I need to win and get her out of my head. That weakling is long gone.

"Die!!!" Pride shouted as she fired a barrage of her feathers at Becca. Becca smiled and used her wind to maneuver through Pride's attack.

"Not before I hear your real name first." Becca responded, before the two punched each other on the chin.

As this was happening, Sito and Robin were hard at work fighting Bang. Robin used her whip to attack the white birds around them. Everytime she killed one, she noticed that it became a white powder. Even though she was doing her best, Robin was not able to keep the all of the white birds away from Sito.

As Sito cut down one of the birds, Bang took the opportunity to attack Sito.

"Watch out!" Robin shouted before jumping in front of Sito and getting sent flying to a nearby roof top. Without hesitation Sito blasted Bang with a light beam.

With all his strength the young boy sent Bang flying to a nearby wall. Bang managed to stop himself before slamming the wall. "Dang that nearly injured me."

"Shit." Sito spoke

"Now it's my turn." Bang then created a huge ball. He pointed it at Sito who was already creating his giant light sword. "Even if you cut it kid, you are still going to get hurt."

His warning made Sito grit his teeth. He is right it is too massive to slice; unless... Sito planned before flattening his sword. When the ball was fired, it flew directly towards Sito. It destroyed everything along the way.

When it reached Sito it exploded. Suddenly, a giant sword emerged from the explosion. It was spinning around rapidly, keeping the attack from touching Sito. Seeing this made Bang laugh. "You are no ordinary rookie that's for sure. I guess killing the towns people will just have to wait. You are more fun."

After the attack Sito felt a drop of blood coming out of his nose. It seems like I'm out of alchemic energy. Now my body is converting tissue to alchemic energy.

"The is no way that boy can beat that monster now. He is out of alchemic energy." A young female Magongo commented.

"But what can we do huh? Do you think our smoke or poison attribute are capable of beating someone who fought ten senior knights?" Another person argued.

"The boy was blessed with power let him handle it."

The citizens watched as Sito struggled against Bang. The villain even landed two attacks on him burning his uniform. Thanks to his body alchemising, Sito had to use his spells sparingly.

The fight was to horrible to watch. Some of the adults in the room had even started to look away.

Robin however, was also not doing well herself. She was barely standing as an endless amount of birds attacked her. She had resorted to using her fist which was not effective.

After Sito fired a 'holy day' at Bang he fell on to the floor. He was unable to move as a stream of blood flowed from his nose. His eyes were red and he was running out of energy.

Just as Bang was about to create the finishing attack, someone stepped in between Sito and Bang. The boy's eyes widened upon seeing who it was.

"This has got to be a joke." Bang commented on the situation.

"You. Why are you here? Get away now." He shouted at a little girl. She was the same girl who Sito helped to find her doll. The nine year old ignored Sito and looked straight at Bang.

"You are brave I like that, but my mercy is thinner than a sowing thread. Get out while you still have a chance." Bang proclaimed before blowing up a nearby building. In the face of danger the child maintained her composure. Her red eyes pierced his soul even though Bang saw they were shaking. " You asked for it kid. Don't cry on me when you die."

Sparks accompanied by pop sounds began to appear around Bang's hands. Sito could hear them from where he was. The pop sounds began to increase in frequency and volume to such an extent that they created a huge boom. Due to wind pressure alone the windows of all the buildings in the area shattered. "For you kids I'll make this quick and painless ." Bang proclaimed as his crimson eyes darkened. "Explosion alchemy: Ground Zero."

Sito's eyes widened as he saw the attack coming at them. With all the strength he could master up he jumped towards the little girl and covered her with his body. "I am not letting the abnormals take another life. I'll give up my own before that happens."

"Pillar of smoke!" Shouted a group of Magongo men. Soon a very dark and thick wall of smoke appeared. It shielded Sito and the girl from danger. The explosion reached the shield, however it couldn't penetrate it. A dim light appeared through the smoke and a small circular bulge menifested. "Now return!." The all shouted in unison.

Sito opened his eyes to see what was happening. He noticed a large number of Magongo men in front of him. "That third seat was right, we have become weak." Nux stated as he carried Robin on his shoulders like a baby. "From now on we as a clan will protect those who need help. We vow also to become stronger."

"You damn right you old man." Sito commented.

"For a second I thought I had to intervene." A person wearing an ankle long cloak spoke. S watched everyone below from a nearby rooftop. "I still look forward to your development Sito. Tough times are ahead of you." The man walked away despite him only having one leg.
