Dom my little brother has been on my neck about going into business with the young business mogul Enola Linda, she is well known for her success at a young age but she never does any interviews on tv nor has she been on any magazines which is very suspicious for a lady to refuse being publicly praised.

Her social media is just filled with mostly side pictures of herself which hardly show any of her features. But she sure does travel a lot and it seems like she travels alone, if you ask me that is a definite red flag. The gossip columns have written some juicy suspicions about her which include having a rich sugar daddy who financed a lot of her businesses and she got most of her business knowledge from him, 'well he better be a trillionaire to have taught her how to acquire so much at such a young age because her net worth over is a billion dollars', or she got married to a very old rich man and inherited his wealth when he passed away but who the rich man could have been is a mystery which leaves that theory at a dead end.

I feel my wolf get a bit fussy at the back of my head with these thoughts that I am having, it's quite annoying to always have someone ease dropping on every single thing that you do, no privacy whatsoever 'but I guess that is probably how all werewolves feel' I think to myself

'No, I think you are the only werewolf that is uncomfortable with being one with me, everyone else is not as weird as you' my wolf says to me

It's a good thing my thoughts are private because everyone would lose respect for me if they knew how awkward and goofy I am, especially since I am the alpha of my pack.

As I prepare to head downstairs to attend this meeting that my brother Dom managed to set up with Enola Linda, which was a miracle that she actually agreed to meeting us but he said it had more to do with flirting with her assistant which is how he got it done.

We all know that the famous Enola Linda is not interested in going into business with any men or anything that has to do with mining, which her website clearly states.

I honestly wonder what she could have possibly gone through to have those statements included in her business website.

Anywhere we need her to get this business up and running.

I glance at the all-black simple watch on my wrist and it is 4:59, I quickly grab my phone and head out because I am definitely late and Dom is definitely going to throw a fit.

Surprisingly he had not tried to mind link me but that is when I remembered that I had blocked anyone from mind linking me since I wanted to finish off the piles of paper work that I had brought with me to finish off. I always found it easier to work when I knew there would be absolutely no disturbances it makes it easier for me to focus. The only reason I keep it open is when I'm on pack lands, and everyone knows to never disturb me unless if it is an emergency.

As I open the mind link channel at the back of my head, I immediately have my aunt's voice screaming at me to get to the restaurant NOW!

I wince upon hearing that

'I will be there in less than a minute' I reply calmly and make sure by brother Dom hears this as well

As I enter the restaurant, I easily spot my brother and aunt, and it seems that I was in actual fact late because it seems like they had been waiting for me.

I make my way to their table and occupy the last sit available which is right between Dom and Jean

The two ladies seem to tense up as I make myself comfortable

But lovely Jean breaks the ice and waves for the waiter to come by

I take that she called him here to take my order.

I notice that it seems everyone is having alcohol

"Double shot Jameson please" I say to the waiter

"Oh, where are my manners I am Michael Rogers" I say as I stretch out my hand to the blonde who almost choked at the sound of my voice.

" I am Enola, it's nice to meet you'" said the blonde who was dressed very seductively and I can easily smell her arousal

As I try to move onto greeting the next lady everyone starts giggling and laughing lightly and I am confused because I do not get the joke

"I'm joking I am Rose, nice to meet you Mr Rogers" said the lady with the blonde hair

Unfortunately, I did not find that funny unlike everyone else so I chuckled lightly not to seem out of place

I stretch out my hand to the next lady and smile because she looks absolutely beautiful and I am a bit startled by her beauty but I stay calm regardless.

"Hi I'm Michael Rogers" I say

She reaches out for my hand and as our hands touch, there is a soothing feeling that lingers on, her touch feels warm and comforting

My stomach twists slightly at this,' wait were those butterflies I felt' I think to myself because I am completely in shock

"Hi I'm Enola, Enola Linda" she replied

I froze for a couple of seconds, she has such an amazing calming yet authoritative voice

I feel a tug and I look down at my hand and notice I was holding onto her hand for dear life and here she was trying to pull away

I released her hand from my strong hold and I felt the emptiness that came with losing the contact that we had.

After what seemed like a lifetime, I finally found my voice and said " I'm sorry I was late"

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long" I say with a cheerful tone trying the lighten up the mood

I think everyone saw what just happened and I heard both Dom and Jean asking if she is my mate but my wolf has been quiet so I simply ignore them because I can't confirm nor deny

I see Rose about to answer but Enola quickly says "what matters is you are here now so we can get down to business” in a slightly dismissive tone

"Okay, I am not sure how much Dominic has said so I am not sure where to begin" I said

"Unfortunately, all Dominic said was that he would like to have a meeting with Enola with regards to investing in a mining company and that is all, so I think it would be best to start from the beginning'" said Rose sensing that Enola has become a bit hostile after the encounter we had

That is when I wonder if she felt the same sparks that I did or I just made her feel uncomfortable

"Well then, we found an untouched diamond and gold land, we have had the land scanned and we can confirm that there is definitely a lot of minerals underground and we want to start digging as soon as possible and that is where you come in Enola" said Dom and he pauses

"Well Dominic this seems like a simple situation that could have been handled by my assistant Rose, I'm sure she gave you a breakdown of the cost of renting the construction equipment.” said Enola

“I'm sure you all know that starting to dig from scratch is a time-consuming job especially if you it is your first project, I'm assuming you also need to buy a lot of machinery and equipment which will enable you to make your tunnels and underground offices inhabitable, but you already know that I do not invest in mining businesses nor do I go into any business with men" said Enola and she definitely sounds annoyed already and to top it off I felt a slight surge of power oozing out of her

I quickly turned to see if Jean and Dom sensed that and it seems they felt it as well

And that is when I notice the faint scent of cinnamon which is what all witches smell like but her scent is different, Rose also smells faintly of it but it is clouded by her perfume which you would swear she bathed in, but Enola is from a powerful bloodline that I can tell but what I don't get is how a half breed can have so much power because if there is only hint of cinnamon that can only mean she is half witch half human.

"We need your experience in the mining industry, we need your machinery, equipment and money since we cannot afford to buy and rent them from you which is why we asked you to fly here so you can see the land for yourself" said Jean calmly.

Surely trying to diffuse the tension as best as she could.

I keep staring at Enola and she has not been able to hold eye contact with any of us but her assistant Rose on the other hand keeps giving Dom and I seductive stares.

"You must have worked out the numbers and the percentage that I will be getting if I do choose to invest, which is a very big ‘IF’ so how much do you need" said Enola in a calm tone emphasizing the ‘if’

I guess Jean must have softened her up because Jean had a thin smile and kept glancing at Enola and Enola simply smiled back vaguely

"We were looking at a 50/50 percent share since it will be your machinery, equipment and your money that will help us start this project." said Dominic

"This is a long-term investment, my machines, equipment, money and knowledge are definitely not cheap, your mine will be up and running in less than a month, and this is a job that could potentially take at least 10-15 years, I'm sure you know that, and that is why my machinery and equipment is in demand, which is also why you chose to work with me knowing that you cannot afford my services," said Enola

"So, I would like to see this land and fly in my crew to check it out to see if really you were right about the minerals, but my offer is that I get 75% because I will be the one investing a lot more," said Enola

I tensed up upon hearing this and looked at Jean and Dom to see if they were actually considering this because this is insane

"The land has been bought and secured by us, that is where a lot of our capital went" I said firmly

"And that is why you can buy your shares back from me so you can have majority of the shares, I am not interested in running your business or being included in its problems so the 25% will be used to pay off my setup services for the first three months," said Enola

" But that still places us at a 50/50 percent share," said Dom

" I will be willing to sell 20 percent of my shares from my 50 percent so I will be left with 30 percent, I'm not greedy and I know that this is a long-term investment," said Enola

I did not notice that we had been talking for so long that we had already had three rounds of drinks

Rose did seem tipsy because she kept on zoning out and staring at my brother and I seductively not to mention she kept on shifting which meant with every shift a new wave of her arousal was in the air and it made me nauseous, but I had to focus on this meeting and not offend Enola's assistant especially since she is the one that made this meeting possible.

"Either way that is my offer but it is not final until I get the green flag from my team tomorrow which will give you enough time to think about my offer and you can let me know if you accept or decline my offer" Enola said

Both Dom and I were tense, this lady just bulldozed over us and gave us her offer which is definitely going to ruin our plans but we do not have the money to decide otherwise, damn her for having the technology and machinery to get this done quickly but if we in no hurry we would have definitely done this the old fashion way which would have taken us 10-20 years to accomplish.

"I think we can conclude this meeting and let's say meet at the lobby at 9:30 tomorrow morning" said Jean seeing that if we do not wrap this up Dom and I's alpha testosterone will ruin the deal because we were about to carry on negotiating for a better offer but Enola seemed to have made up her mind and she had the upper hand here so anything she says goes.

"Okay great, we will see you then, once again nice meeting you" said Enola as she stood up somehow dragging Rose’s arm so they can head out
