Chapter 21The invitations had been designed, printed, and distributed. Michael had informed Barry there would be approximately eight people attending. However, Michael did warn Barry there were a couple of people who had not indicated if they were bringing a partner or not.
Barry was quite happy with the numbers as it meant that thousands wouldn’t be traipsing all over his manicured lawns and shrubbery.
Those who had been offered invitations were Paulo and Lorenzo, Mitch and Mark, Nick, and obviously Barry, along with Michael and Brad.
“By the way, Barry, have you found a date for the evening?” enquired Michael when the two men spoke on the telephone.
