"Rough Rider"
Y/n sits along side the river bank in a meditative state as he and Aang are dead silent. Relaxing. The wind howls through the trees as the fish in the riverbank swim along it the beautiful crisp water. The two take the time out to align themselves with the world.
"isn't this nice Aang? Just time that we can truly be in a meditative state..." he says as his back aligns. Aang heavily agrees.
"It is! The world itself flowing as the world it at peace. A true moment" he says. As the two continue. The other members of "Team Avatar" are not too far away. Sokka is Prepping his weapons. Katara is practicing her water bending. And the other is, well.
Y/n's ears perk up as he hears her approach. The young girl. Short her eyes, Sea foam green. Her soft Black hair. Toph. Who is, less than Soft. Approaching the two. Her hands on her hips. Even if she's blind, she's still a sassy Girl.
"Hey, Twinkle toes, Rock Boy, I need we're going to need more wood for the fire tonight. So who's coming with me?" She asks as Y/n replies kindly.
Sokka And Katara turn to see them talking as Sokka smirks.
"Ha! He's getting bossed around by a girl!" He says as Katara Pinches his ear.
"Ow!"
"Maybe you should learn some humility, he's just trying to be nice to Toph, they're both earth benders. Maybe she just wants to make a friend"
"Or maybe a Boyfriend" Sokka says as Katara looks at him angry. And then actually thinks about it.
"Huh, maybe she is...." she says. And Sokka can't help it
"Jealous of a blind girl? Ha!" He says as Katara chases him around."
"Toph you're pretty capable. You can do it yourself." He says. She doesn't like the comment as she folds her arms.
"I'm sure I can't. So why don't you come with me Rock boy?" She-says with a more smug tone as Y/n sighs and stands up.
"Y/n, you wanna handle that?" Aang asks.
"Fine, let's go Toph" he says with a grumble. As Toph follows. Soon catching up as they get away from the others.
"Alright, what's this really about Toph?" You asks as you keep walking. Clearly she could bend the firewood out of the earth easily.
"What? Is it wrong to spend some quality time with a fellow earth bender?" She asks as he sighs. They stop at a small flat area. They take a bending stance and stomp the ground. Making a few motions as rock chairs and a stone table arrive from the earth. They sit. Relaxing.
"Fine fine, I believe you Toph. But what did you want?" He asks as she turns to him.
"You're looking, uh, handsome, today.." y/n hears the words escape her lips. Did, Toph just try to compliment me? This is new. She's Usually ripping on me.
"I don't believe you" he replies as she angrily replies back
"What? Why not?" She asks as he smirks
"Because you're blind.." he utters as she opens her mouth to reflect it. And then realizes he's right.
"I.....fair point, but that doesn't mean-" he cuts her off.
"But don't get me wrong. I do appreciate the words. I mean, your eyes are beautiful, even if you can't see. They make you look perfect. And even more beautiful than you already are, but it's pretty hard to make something so perfect even more perfect" he says as her cheeks get red. Who knew simple words could make a girl so red.
"Oh, I, didn't expect you to say that..." she says. Her heart is racing as he stands up. Walking to her chair and behind her. His presence is chilling as he puts his hands softly on her shoulders. Her face getting redder as her toes on the ground slightly curl up. Her breath shaky as he leans down and kisses her cheek.
"Don't mention it, anyway, we should get back to base. The others might think we're dead or something, like enjoyed this talk, same time tomorrow?" He leaves as Toph is staring at the ground. Until she looks forward.
"Yup, he's the one...tonight, I am going to "Rock" his world"...
