Lynn placed both palms on the bathroom countertop as she hung her head. She had put on a front ever since she learned the blood soaked bear was meant for her. After settling into the double hotel suite, Lynn had escaped for a few moments of alone time. She stared into the mirror as the tears clung to her lashes. For once in her life, she thought things were looking up. She thought, maybe, just maybe, she had a chance to find happiness. Now, she wasn’t sure what to think. She had placed Alexis and Calista in danger and that was unacceptable. A knock on the bathroom door caused her to jump with a start.
