Chapter 29
“Congratulations,” a woman said as Alexis and Lynn passed by her on their way out of Central Park.
“Thank you,” Lynn replied as she squeezed Alexis’s wet fingers. She giggled, turning to look at the Alexis. Alexis looked a drowned rat with her blonde hair plastered to her cheeks and her pale blue blouse clinging to her wet skin and showing off the black bra she wore beneath her clothes. “I’m so sorry I knocked you into the water.” She held tight to Alexis as the two crossed the street, leaving the beauty of Central Park behind them as the sun slowly begin to disappear from the sky.
“I’m not the only one dripping,” Alexis giggled. Her eyes lingered over Lynn’s clothing as she grinned. Tan skin and bold freckles could easily be seen beneath the pale blouse. “You’re so beautiful
