Chapter 23
The hours seemed to drag by as the crime scene workers combed the hotel suite for evidence. Alexis had asked a doctor she knew to do her a favor, so that Lynn did not have to go to the hospital. Lynn had been adamant about refusing to go and after the trauma she went through, Alexis did not want to force her into anything. “How is she,” Alexis asked when the doctor emerged from the room she had taken Lynn to.
“She’s okay for the most part. Her mental state is not so coherent, which is to be expected after what happened. “She’s got a number of bruises and she’s lost a bit of blood, but not too much. The bump on the head worries me the most because she could have a slight concussion. Someone should stay with her and make sure she’s alright. It’s possible she will only experience
