“Damn you, Katie.” Alexis exhaled, cursing Katie beneath her breath as she settled into the first class seat. “And how can the station afford first class seating? Oh yeah, that’s right. Your sister is a millionaire.” She stared out the cabin window, watching as the plane lifted into the clouds. Going to New York was not her idea of fun; neither was leaving her daughter behind in Florida. Alexis was rarely ever separated from Calista for more than a night. She fought the urge to tell the occupant of the seat behind her to go to hell when she felt the back of her seat being pulled. “Stupid kids,” she mumbled. “I am not a kid,” the familiar voice said. “And hasn’t anyone ever told you that talking to yourself makes you look just a little bit crazy?” Lynn grinned as she leaned across the seat
