“Be careful, sweetie,” Lynn called out when Calista sprinted across the crowded playground. She sighed from exhaustion when Calista raced up the wooden stairs and joined several children on the massive jungle gym. Lynn smiled, watching as Calista slid down the enclosed slide and then climbed back up to do it all again. She glanced to a nearby bench and was stunned to see a familiar dark head staring at the droves of children. Lynn kept one eye on Calista as she took a seat next to Katie and smiled. “Fancy meeting you here,” she said.
