The Child Of The Blood Moon

One Year, Six Months

Honestly speaking I don't even think, anyone really knows why the war broke out the way it did or why it lasted for so long because like I said before it is a touchy subject. You would think surviving a f*****g Apocalypse, the elders would at least inform us about what is really occurring but nope, not even a glimpse of insight. The only official information we had the pleasure of knowing was how our new alpha would be departing for the ultimate battle and placed my brother Vex as acting Alpha, while Alpha Blake took part in his new expedition. I could not for the life of me understand why Alpha Blake would place my brother as acting Alpha, do my older brothers have alpha blood?! Was my dad an alpha or did my mom carry the Alpha blood?! 

Since that Elder told Me Nana Deb wasn't my real aunt, I don't know what to believe anymore. I just wanted some freaking answers but my brother Vex always replied with a similar response and never gave anything away. 

"Moon don't worry your pretty little head about things you do not need to worry about" Vex. 

"How can I not be concerned about these matters? This Shitt involves me to Vex, I'm tired of you guys keeping me in the dark about these matters" Moon.  

"Watch your mouth and tone Moon, we don't have time for your silly childish rambling today, we have more important matters to attend to if you would excuse us" Vex.

I honestly hated when Vex would be so God Damm formal with me like I was not his little sister and like I did not matter, especially in front of other pack members.

"Whatever Vex, I'm honestly tired of the secrecy, so whether you personally tell me or not just know I'll figure out the truth no matter what" Moon. 

Vex just looked at me and started seething with annoyance and fighting for control of his wolf but that just proved my point. Cassie told me that with Alphas it's ten times harder for them to control their wolves making them easily triggered, so, me pushing my brother's buttons was yes to obtain information regarding our linage but also to test my theories.  I have not told anyone besides Nana Deb about my theories or newfound abilities, I was only 14 years old, and my wolf was already presenting herself and demanding respect and the truth. 

" I Moon of the unknown swear to uncover the truth about everything these stupid adults and alphas have been keeping from us" I declare in front of the only three teenagers left in our pack. 

"Moon, just take your ass to Nana Deb before you really piss me off, I don't have time for your stupidity right now!! "Vex.

I simply just rolled my eyes

"Whatever you say Vex" Moon.

My wolf was also demanding for me to put Vex in his place but what place is that exactly??  

"I mean it Moon, don't go doing something stupid" Vex.

I took my ass straight to my bestfriend Cassie, Demanding she tells me everything she knows without holding back. 

Haha, you thought I was going to say, Nana Deb, right? Yea Vex would have thought so too. 

 Okayy so A year and a half ago, right before Alpha left for his expedition and held the pack meeting which only obtained about 100 pack members, all above the ages 30 well besides the 5 youngest, which are Me (Moon), My Bestfriend Cassie, her annoying brother Drew Blake, and last but defiantly not least my twin brothers Vex and Styles, although my brothers are the oldest out of the 5 of us.  

   Alpha Blake announced in front of the entire pack that he would be departing in the morning with his Heir Drew Blake and my brother Styles and with the Moon Goddesses help they would come out victorious, the Alpha let it slip that he would also be accompanied by two other Alphas, leaving Vex as Acting Alpha in his absence. My brothers were only 22 turning 23 at the time and Drew Blake was only 17 turning 18 soon and the alpha couldn't risk his last male heir, but he didn't have a problem risking both my brother's lives, and it pissed me the F off.  

Everything was going smooth for two whole days with Vex in charge but on the third day, everything and I mean everything irritated me, so I did what I always did when I felt unsettled, took my ass to the forest with Nana deb and went for our usual stroll, we even talked about the night she found me and my brothers. She explained how everything happened for a reason and how I was not actually turning 16 today but in fact turning 15, every other teenager around was 16 or older, well not that older, my brothers are the oldest of us "teens".  

"The time will come child when they eventually form a new council and form a new world, you cannot let anyone, and I mean anyone knows the truth about how old you really are." Nana deb 

"Nana Deb, I don't understand what exactly does this means? "Moon 

"I've always told you that you were the last creation of the Moon Goddess, and I meant every word, sweety. I haven't been entirely honest either" Nana Deb.  

She started saying this with the sincerest smile ever yet towards the end she looked completely defeated by what she had just said to me and was about to say.  

"I know Nana Deb and whatever you have held to yourself for this long must be for a reason. So, with knowing that and knowing how you always treated me like your daughter, I'm not upset I'm just extremely curious about who I am and where I came from." Moon. 

"Seeing how you're only 14 and you're already showing miraculous abilities it won't be long until the truth comes out, so in order to protect you my precious moon child I will tell you everything I know." Nana Deb.  

I did not know what the F*** to say so I just nodded my head for her to continue. 

"I'll start at the beginning, my child......" She paused and begin again "While everyone was fighting for their lives the night me and my mate Rodger found the three of you" Nana Deb. 

Waittttttttt I never knew Nana deb had a Mate!!!! 

"Your Mother was on the battlefield trying to protect your brothers, the rouges were trying to kidnap your brothers while everyone was distracted fighting, but your mother wasn't like any other she-wolfs, she threw herself into the battlefield knowing that she and the pup inside of her might not make it but all she knew was that she needed to save the pups that were taken from her and she couldn't lose them like she lost her true mate, all those years ago." Nana Deb.  

I immediately started crying.

"I know the child I know but it's time you know the full truth, especially since you have already seen the future and I know it's going to be difficult letting me go but it's time I reunite with my mate it has been way too long. So, promise me, you are going to channel that anger and force yourself to shift and no matter what happens don't leave anyone alive to reveal your secret!! You will use everything I have taught you and you will overcome everything that comes your way." Nana Deb 

"I'm so so sorry about your mate Nana De, I had no idea, I can't believe I was so Damm wrapped up in myself that I didn't realize my mother hurting due to the loss of a mate, I don't know how you survived that pain."  

She just kisses my forehead and says, "You kids helped me through it, darling, you guys gave me purpose but it's almost time for me to say my goodbyes, I can feel it in my bones."  

"Does this mean you knew who my mother was this whole time? and I do not have the same father as the twins? And Nana it was just a nightmare it wasn't a vision of the future I'm defiantly not physic, you'll be simply fine, you have to be".Moon  

"My child you are more powerful than you even realize but the time will come for you to unleash your full strength. I believe in you. You have had this dream for two weeks straight, I have accepted my fate now it is time you do the same. Your mother was an oracle wolf yet a female Alpha, and yes, the twin's father was indeed an Alpha which is why the twins are so strong and powerful as well. Both of their parents were descendants of the original werewolf bloodlines allowing them to possess special abilities, your mother's bloodline carried the oracle genes and the twin's fathers possessed the Lycan gene" Nana deb.  

"Do the twins know all of this?" Moon  

 "Yes, my child they know everything but to protect you they have sworn to secrecy." Nana  

"Do they know who my father is?" Moon 

I start to look around like a lunatic, I smell it, shittttttt I can almost taste it, Gosh I love the smell of Blood,  Mmh it smells so fresh... The realization hit me as soon as I smelled It, the smell of blood was coming from Nana debs Fingers.  

"Nana Omg How did you prick your finger?" Moon  

"I have been secretly giving you my blood, since the moment the twins told me who your father is" Nana.  

She looked Sad and refused to look me in the eyes 

"Nana what are you trying to say, just spit it out!! AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE BEEN GIVING ME YOUR BLOOD SINCE I WAS A PUP" 

I Basically yell at my Nana for the first time ever...... Good thing we are standing in our secret cave behind the waterfall by our pack, so no one can actually hear us but shitt I feel shitty now. The waterfall cave is also where Nana trained me to become a lethal killing machine, I never understood why she trained me so hard and refused to give me any off days but now I understand. 

"My sweet sweet child, you still don't get it, do you?" looking at me with worried eyes. 

"Moon, you don't have time to dwell on this information, you must absorb it and accept it....... MOON, YOU ARE THE FREAKING DAUGHTER OF THE VAMPIRE KING!!!  and He does not even know you exist" Nana  

 "I think I would know if I was a vampire or the daughter of a king, it's not possible, and if it slightly was possible then it is maybe one of his kids who is my father, defiantly not no king so of course, he does not know I exist." moon 

"You don't have to believe me, but it was your mother's last words, my dear Moon. If it makes you feel any better, I did not believe her either it was unheard of for a wolf's second chance mate or true mate to be a vampire. I didn't believe her until she started hemorrhaging and losing a lot of blood and your eyes turned completely white from the smell of blood and your tiny fangs appeared. I knew at that moment I had to protect you no matter what, you were the last creation of the Moon Goddess, and you were a freaking hybrid at that. I immediately asked if the Vampire king knew she was pregnant and she shook her head frantically to tell me he had no clue she was even pregnant. He had mated with your mom but decided he did not want a werewolf as a second chance mate and he didn't want to replace his deceased wife." Nana looked at me with concerned eyes and suggest we start heading back soon but she continued telling me of the night I was born and the people we lost. 

"So, I quickly mind-linked for Rodger to help me and asked your mother what your name was, and she looks up to the sky and said "Moon," that was your mother's last words. I promised to take care of her kids and keep everything she told me a secret, so on that night I and Rodger buried your mother inside this very cave and sworn to never repeat anything to anyone. On our way back to camp, Rodger died trying to make a passageway for us, which forced me to stop in our tracks and mourn my beloved, the loss of a mate almost killed me and the three of you, I was so caught up I didn't see rouges or revenants closing in on us." 

While Nana relived the past to explain the past to me everything came crashing down on me, I could feel the visions pouring in me as she spoke, it was as if I was actually there relieving everything with her. I do not know how the hell that is possible, maybe just maybe I am an oracle like my mother. As soon as Nana realized what was happening, she grabbed me and started hugging me and whispering something I just could not comprehend.

"What happened next?" I mummed while gripping onto the cave walls for support." Moon  

"You started crying and everyone around us just dropped dead" Nana Deb. 

Nana grabbed me into her embrace and told me we had to head back now, or people would get suspicious.  

On our way home from the cave, a group of revenants snuck up on us and brutally murdered Nana before I could even comprehend what was going on but as soon as the smell of her blood hit my nostrils, my constant nightmare for the last weeks came to reality before my eyes, it was exactly how my nightmare occurred with the same exact faces and everything. I had to fully accept who I am to bring forth my wolf and shift completely but first I had to look the only mother I knew, in the eyes and come to terms that I would never see her again or hear her call my name. I froze in place looking at my mother on the ground almost dead surrounded by blood-thirsty vampires that turned into revenants due to their bloodthirst, and do not ask me how I knew this because I have no freaking idea. I never been so unhinged in my life but snapped and In an instance, I transformed into my wolf and killed all 10 of the blood-thirsty bastards without even blinking an eye or any form of remorse. Nana taught me to kill without remorse and at that moment I finally appreciated all our training sessions, she prepared me for this yet  I still couldn't save her. I rushed to my Nana, and she was barely holding on and I had no clue how to transform back. I began howling and Nana slowly began stroking my Red and White fur. 

"The child born under the Super Blood Moon has officially risen, Esme, your daughters' fur is the most beautiful fur I have ever come across, you would be so proud of our little girl. Happy birthday my Moonchild!! Remember everything I have ever taught you........ I.... lo..ve ..you ... Mo....on" Nana Deb.  

"NANNNNNNA DEEEEEBBBB!!!!!!! Noooo Pleeeaseeee dooooont leeaavvveee meeee, I need you!!!!!!!" Moon  

And just like that Nana Deb was murdered right before my eyes, shredded into and brutally drained of blood... and to think it is my freaking birthday.
