What the f**k is Reylin thinking of sending me away? I stomp off angrily, following Christella to the basement. I know hiding away is the right decision, but that does not mean I am not angry. Furious, more like.
I spent most of the time at the Alpine pack worrying about the safety of my pack to come home and find out it was being attacked. I want to fight, to defend them. We never should have left. A heaviness builds in my stomach as guilt overwhelms me. What would have happened if we stayed at the Alpine pack? Would we have a place to come home to?
