CHAPTER 7 - UNSANITARY SURPRISES

1578 Words
“Baby?” Buer almost growled as the half naked man next to Kron called out his ange. “Get dressed.” He sent out a stern warning to Kron as he glared at the man who he assumed was August's boss. Both of them struggled to get all the clothes back as half of it was torn in shreds and lying on the bathroom floor. “Are you guys decent?” August spoke up from his chest, half her voice muffled. He could feel her blush. A part of him rejoiced at that. She was so small and innocent. “Yes baby. You can turn around.” The boss was semi decent and Kron was no longer high. As the man made a move to approach August, Buer couldn't help but growl lowly. There was no way that this man was touching her. August didn't want to turn around and face the two men. Especially when staying in her bear man's arms is so comfortable. But she has to go home. Sleep and get up to fail in her History test. She turned when she heard a growl like sound from Buer. She patted his chest and turned back to look at her boss. Still wrapper in his arms. “Hi boss.” Her boss looked really shabby. Ben's shirt buttons were ripped off showing off his drool worthy physique. His pants were in much better state. And fully zipped. “Hi baby.” At that greeting, Buer tightened his grip on her. “Hello beautiful.” The beautiful man from before greeted her. Ben you lucky son of a b***h! The man was more beautiful face to face. Man, his smile could light up constellations. However, he was nothing compared to the man behind her. “Hi. Now that we have all greeted each other can we leave? I need to go to school tomorrow.” She then turned to Ben. “I am failing in History. You better be ready to speak to the principal.” Buer ended up driving me and Ben home. “Where should I drop your boss?” August knew what to answer but was scared to do so. Grandma was back at her house for the weekdays so that left her alone in the house. Plus, Ben was drunk as a skunk to be left alone. That left them with the option of him staying at her house. Saying that to Buer was the thing she dreaded. He looked mighty pissed while leaving the hall. There was no way he would be fine with her staying alone with a guy. Why was August so concerned about the bear man's opinion anyway ? It's not like he has any rights. He was practically a stranger and this wouldn't be the first time Ben stayed over. “He'll stay with me.” Buer saw red as soon as his ange uttered those words. There was no way in hell that the patron bâtard was staying with August. Sensing that an argument was about to start, August puts up her hand in surrender. “I know you don't like it but I can't leave Ben alone. It's not the first time he is staying over and for heaven sake you just saw him f**k your friend.” She hoped that the last statement would work in her favour. “Where is your grand-mère ?” She assumed that that last word meant grandmother. “Well, she is at her house.” “Are you alone?” She wanted to tell that's what not having your grandmother in the house means. Then again, he must have thought about the parents. Not wanting to get into a sob story, she simply answered. “Yes. I live alone.” That statement should rule out the possibility of parents, siblings or any other person ever. “Then you will not stay alone with him.” More than a statement, his words was an order. There was no was August was allowing a man to command her. “I don't believe you have a say in my life. I have known Ben for years. You, I've known for three days. You mister don't get to dictate to my life.” (patron bâtard - bastard boss, grand-mère - grandmother) She was magnifique when angry. By the end of her speech, ange was practically on his lap with her tiny finger on his chest. Il l'aimait comme ça. Her face was flushed and she had a lovely glow. (magnifique - gorgeous, Il l'aimait comme ça - He loved her like this) “Stop smiling you doofus.” She huffed and he couldn't help but notice her chest rapidly rising and falling. Buer was going to burn in hell for his thoughts. “Ange, how about we compromise? I take them both back with me to the hotel. You can call up tomorrow morning to check up on him. Besides, you said you have a History test to prepare for.” “Shoot, I am so screwed. Okay. You do that.” She took out her purse and he got out to open her car door. He was going to woo her with her chivalry. “What does that word you said mean?” August asked him as she took his hand to get out of the car. Every pore in him wanted to lift her up, knowing that she was in pain. “Is your leg better now?” “Oh yes.” Her face broke out in a smile that warmed his heart. “It has almost healed way faster than the normal medicines. That too with chillies and no tablets. I hate tablets.” Buer was now convinced that they were made for each other. He escorted her to the door and placed a small kiss on her forehead, praying that no s****l harrasment case is registered against. “Bonne nuit mon ange.” (Bonne nuit mon ange - Good night Angel) Buer was in his car and out of the street before August could comprehend what happened. The kiss on her forehead felt like a dream, a whisper. Something that never happened. She closed her eyes. Trying to clear her head and stop thinking about the man who seems to pop-up everywhere she goes. This was not normal. He looked in his late twenties and she was just eighteen. No way that this was going anywhere. Besides, she had a promise to keep and that promise didn’t include happiness, only misery. *************************************************************************** August was almost in tears by the time History test was over. There was no way that she was passing. All because of Ben. By the time she went to bed it was almost two and still, she made an effort to get up at five to read something. That helped a bit but surely not enough to pass. She had another Biology tomorrow which she intends to pass on her own. “Flunking this one too?” Kevin asked walking beside her. The expression on her face should have told it all. “Yes.” August was never going to a party with Ben again. Unless he bribes the school to give her a diploma. “How was last night?” Marcy was on her other side. She knew all about the party but nothing about what happened last night. August wanted it to stay that way. “It was alright.” Marcy would never let it go. Instead she just faked a headache to look like she was burning a hangover. “How about we go out today?” It was one of the twins who asked as the whole gang was in the cafeteria for lunch. “It Tuesday.” The other twin replied. They were like that sometimes. Arguing among themselves as the rest of us look-on. “We can go to August's club.” Justin spoke up all of a sudden. She glared at him as he looked at Marcy. So that was the plan. “You want to go to my workplace to hangout?” “Not all of us work at swanky clubs August. Some of us are stuck at regular jobs.” Marcy did work at an ice cream parlour. That sounded so boring to her. Kevin worked at KFC. The twins were rich enough and Justin at his father's mechanic shed. A better idea to impress Marcy would be to take her to the shed in Justin's working hours. He does the heavy work which leaves him shirtless, sweaty, oily and oh so sexy. Definitely a better idea than club. She so needed to tell him this. “Back to earth August.” Kevin was waving his hand on her face. The others were snickering. Including Justin. Asshole. “Fine you guys can come by nine.” August can speak to Ben and shift her timing. Besides, she had to make him call her principal. He was in now way getting off this easily after yesterday's antics. “We won’t have to stand in line right?” “What do we wear?” “I need new clothes.” “Will your hot boss be there?” “I need to go to the parlour.” The three girls spoke among themselves, not waiting for August to answer as the boys looked on. Well, she no had a phone call to make.
