The car pulled up at the driveway junction by her building. Wren unbuckled her seatbelt, and Jasper's eyes fell to her injured ankle. "Shall I walk you up?" Wren said, "No need. It's not that bad. It only hurt right after I sprained it, it feels much better now. I have flat shoes in the trunk, I'll just change into those." They both opened their doors and got out of the car at the same time. Jasper stepped forward first to pop the trunk open. Wren held onto the car to support herself as she limped over, changed into her flat shoes, then took the cake and the folded clothes out of the car. "Thank you for tonight, Jasper. You can use the car as you need, just give me a call when you're done with it." After saying goodbye, Wren carried her things toward the residential building, walking
