What Theo never expected was that Kevin had already been fired.
At this point, Theo honestly was not worried about the consequences anymore. Even if Victor learned the truth, Theo could simply claim that Yara had pressured him into everything. If things fell apart, she could share the blame with him.
And even if Kevin changed his statement tomorrow and exposed the truth, Theo still had nothing to fear. He could push the entire mess onto Ryan. He already had someone to take the fall and a way out for himself. What was there to be afraid of?
What truly infuriated him was something else. Jasper had humiliated him in front of everyone. Being publicly cursed at like that had completely destroyed his pride.
