I grabbed my shoulder bag from my office table and ran hurriedly to the elevator before Leon could catch me again. I was so ashamed of how I responded to his kisses. I know he was used to teasing innocent girls like me, but I shouldn’t have allowed it. I should take control of the situation. But I lose the ability to think properly whenever he gets near me.
I leaned my back against the elevator wall, still catching my breath from running. There were few people inside and must have wondered why my face were all red and my breathing was frantic. I didn’t fear Leon. But I feared I might give in to his flirtations.
“Katherine!” I closed my eyes for a second when I heard Perry’s voice when I got out of the building. He was at the parking lot going to his car few meters away.
