I breathe in deep and let it out. I look into Jule's eyes and see where he's gonna go. Breathe. Think. Fight. His eyes smirk. I blink and I'm on the ground. What the hell?!!
"Didn't see that coming, did you Cass?" Dammit. He's so much faster now that he's a vamp. I thought I'd at least be able to get a few shots off. He extends a hand and I let him pull me up.
