He had a surprised look on his face as those words escaped my mouth.

"I am not sure because she has not shown any reaction to the mate bond ;She identifies me as a stranger and the Alpha who saved her not as her mate" I clarified and palmed my face.
"What if she's mated and it is just…with all due respect, I think maybe it is just lust" He assumed.
