Chapter Sixteen Annie's POV The taxi pulled up to Grey's house, and I sat there for a moment, staring at the front door. My heart was pounding. I didn't know what to expect. Yelling? Accusations? Silence? I paid the driver and stepped out, my legs feeling heavier with each step toward the door. When I walked inside, the house was quiet. "Grey?" I called softly. No answer. I walked further in, my bag still hanging from my shoulder, and noticed a light coming from his office down the hall. I took a deep breath and walked toward it. The door was slightly open.
