Dear Mr. Editor,
For years, Billy Pinkerton of Chicago has accused me and my brother of almost every crime committed in the whole of the country. But look at the facts. My dear wife & I have been living in this barren desert ever since we were married, and my brother has been living in Juarez, Mexico, for an even longer time.
Billy Pink & his lackeys were spies for the north during the war, and they have never forgiven us for having the courage of our convictions. They cannot prove that I have ever harmed anyone, but they cannot deny that they threw a bomb into a house full of innocents, maimed a poor, old, gray-haired mother, and murdered a boy who had not yet shaved.
