Chapter 28 GIDEON'S POV I had already expected the look of absolute shock on her face even before I saw it. For someone who had mastered the art of restraint and self control early, it surprised me how easily it was to put all of that aside when it came to her. The realization of that dawned on me as I sat across from her in the quiet room that was her workspace.
