GIDEON'S POV
I had no idea how many hours I had spent in the study with reports of all that had happened over the past few weeks scattered on my desk.
I had been too incapacitated to go through all of it the previous weeks and now, my frustration knew no bounds. It felt like I had completely failed my people.
The terrible events had happened over many weeks but it did not feel that way as I was reading about them all at once.
One of the neighboring packs who we had an alliance with had even sent a letter opting to call off the alliance since we were under a political crisis.
I tossed the letter on the desk with a sigh and massaged my forehead.
