Those papers were definitely here.
It was my duty to ensure that everything was prepared.
At nearly six in the morning, Alpha and his son are on their way to the Alpha's office for their routine.
Being their secretary, a teenage high school student, a rogue orphan, and a wolfless werewolf was not enough.
Losing the one thing that can save me is the only way I can get out of trouble.
The fact that there is a blizzard outside is terrible enough.
What if the Alpha punishes me by tossing me outside during this snowstorm?
Find those papers, please!
I opened a small slide on the desk to look through it, and just as I opened it, the fall pushed back up, crushing my hands.
“Aaaa!”
Benjamin laughed, and I heard my voice resound.
"You are very foolish!"
I shouted.
I was skulking around the desk like a rat.
"What was the outlaw trying to find?"
I managed to remove my hands from the desk at last.
Benjamin took hold of my right hand and tugged.
A bone snapped in two.
He heard it too.
He put his hand to my mouth and said, "You big crybaby, calm down." You bring shame to the Claw Pack."
My knees gave way as he said this, and I fell back, dragging the chair with me.
Benjamin started laughing again.
I had to contain my hands' pain because I knew he could not get me to the hospital.
The pack was not permitted to help me in any manner.
If I dared, I could spend a week in the cellar, and if the Alpha thought that was sufficient, I might even be abandoned there.
Benjamin was throwing the papers at me as I lay on the floor, attempting to muster the strength to stand up.
Benjamin laughs and says, "I am giving back the papers you left here. I did not want a rogue searching through my belongings in my house because I knew there would be a snowfall."
You are right—it is flawless.
"Maybe while you are out there, you can figure out where you belong," I say, taking the papers as he leaves.
I can see that I am shaken, seeing as they have been written over with 'f**k the Alpha'.
Alpha Bradley, though he is the devil himself, is not a simpleton.
Whoever defines him will be killed by him.
He bases his decision on who is deserving of it.
He uses his evil calculations to control every part of my life, making me feel like an energy waster.
I should mentally get ready for when he throws me out because of these papers.
I am not allowed to use his computer, and I can not leave without permission from Luna or the Alpha.
I can already feel that Luna Barbara is taking advantage of me with her bare hands.
This is insufficient.
I felt like a thief because she forced me to wear her old clothes.
I am wearing clothes that are Luna's.
Everybody who comes across me is aware of their origins.
My body was fully formed at seventeen, with some excess fat around my thighs.
If her clothes were a little looser, that would be nice.
I am not going to die of the cold, in spite of everything she could do to me.
The devil herself speaks as soon as the doors open.
"How could she have done that?"
She yelled, her voice shrill.
"Despite my attempts to stop her, she persisted in rummaging through your desk. The fact that she took your clothes is bad enough. As Luna, you are now accountable for it. She wants to see her mother. Let us cast her out into the snowdrift."
Benjamin answered, projecting a strong Alpha fatherly tone.
"Perhaps the dumb fat omega just needs a cold shower to stay in her rightful place."
It is not surprising that Benjamin has his father's build—he is tall, muscular, and has curly black hair that makes him look like a neighborhood kid.
He has no lips and brown eyes, and he has stupid bracelets on both hands and piercings in both ears.
He always dresses in tight shirts and skinny jeans, and his foolish actions always make his parents angry.
I can not stop hating him.
Right next to me, I can hear footsteps stopping.
I was still crying from the agony in my hands.
I think my hand is broken as I feel a strong blow to me, sending me crashing back to the ground.
"You are repulsive."
She strikes my shoulder once more.
“Worthless!”
She taps my elbow as I slowly go into a fetal position, calling it "repulsive."
"UNGrateful!" she slaps my hips, adding insult to injury.
The sound of the doors opening is followed by another knock on my knee.
"Luna, could you please explain this?"
I heard what the Alpha had to say.
Everything hurts right now.
Everywhere on my body hurts.
The bruises will not show on my tan skin, but the pain will be excruciating.
She angrily exclaimed, "This b***h stole from my desk!" to the Alpha.
I stayed rigid when I heard him growl while I was lying on the ground.
I heard footsteps approaching from my direction.
"Cassidy, is this accurate?"
The Alpha asked, "If he knew I only put the documents he needed in Luna's desk for his reunion tomorrow morning at eight a.m.," to which I shook my head.
"Dad, you might want to see what she wrote on the papers you needed this morning," Benjamin said with concern in his voice.
I vowed that this was the worst they could have done this morning as I swallowed the large gulp of saliva lodged in my throat.
The Alpha's snarl became louder and I felt its fingers dig into the backs of my long hair.
His hand gripped my little brown curls firmly.
"Cassidy, you have completed your daily practical joke."
Dad, get rid of her! Let the blizzard teach her her lesson."
He recommended.
"Cassidy, you will be there exactly, and you will stay there all day. I will see you in the cellar if you disobey my commands. Is that understood correctly?
I sobbed in agony.
"Respond to me!"
He screamed in my face, spitting all over me.
"Yes," was the response.
He threw me out the window and onto the second roof right away.
I felt vulnerable and in the worst pain I have ever experienced during the blizzard's bitter winds.
There was some snow on the floor, but not all of it.
I went down and landed on the dirt side.
This was the worst pain I have ever had, even worse than what the Luna used to do.
It would be challenging for me to stand up because my body was not obeying my commands.
I eventually ran out of energy and closed my eyes once more.
I did not know what time it was, but when I woke up, my body hurt so bad.
My hand started to hurt so much that I was unable to stand up.
I muttered to myself, "Aaa," and forgot about my broken hand.
It did not make sense to move, but if I did not go to the town center, my bedroom's wall storage room would become the cellars.
I was barefoot in the snow, unable to feel my feet, and now I sat on my good side. I was wearing a skirt at the time.
The other omegas had broken every article of clothing I had by the time I got to the pack house.
Luna Barbara cleaned all of my clothes last week, so I only have two clean ones.
It was getting more complicated as I had to move my body once more.
