VI - A Life Changing Event
By June, the James and Maria settled into a pleasant routine and their relationship continued to grow.
The hours at the newspaper could not have been more convenient for James, either. He still enjoyed his job and had mastered the paperwork and details. James had also learned a great deal about the other departments at the newspaper and felt confident in his career choice.
Departing from work every day at five, he even had time to lift weights before Maria joined him at six o’clock. She continued her summer work at an insurance company and departed work at five-thirty. They spent time together almost every day and James was pleased he’d not taken a second job. Spending time with Maria was far more valuable than extra cash.
