Chapter 24.

*Anthony's view.

I've been flustered and nervous as hell all day. I've talked to John a couple of times now. Just making sure everything is alright and set. The guys keep telling me to cool down. We went and had our hair and faces cleaned up to start the day. That helped. Then we went and enjoyed a nice lunch with a few drinks. When we left there, I was feeling better. When we got to the suit store, that helped a little bit more. I love a mean looking suit. Daman picked out a medium blue suit with vest and with slim pants. The kid, at 17, is built like his Uncle's and looks good! He has wavy hair and had it styled combed back. George and Bria had him when they were barely 20. Planned, but young. He's good. Both he and Laura are. She's gorgeous just like my sister. George went with a dark grey suit and vest. Same slim legs. He keeps his hair short. No beard. Stephano, being himself, went with a maroon suit and vest. He looked great in it though. He actually has longer hair that he keeps up in a bun. His cheeks were cleaned up and his beard, all be it short and close to his face, looked good and stood out. For myself, I went with a navy-blue suit and vest. Slim leg. I had the sides of my head faded back down. The top of my hair blown and styled back. I had my cheeks cleaned up and my beard styled out clean and crisp. Just the way Andi likes it...before she runs her fingers thru it! To say we looked good was an understatement!

As we were getting ready to check out, I handed the salesman my card and he smiled. He came back with my card, handed it to me and then placed a small box in my hands. I opened the box and in it were cufflinks that matched my watch from Andi. It took me a second and by surprise. "Uhhh...did I pay for these?" I stammered. "No sir. They've already been paid for. We we're told to give them to you after you were done today." He smiled. "Damn that woman!" I muttered. "What's the matter?" Stephano asked. I handed him the box. "Oooh! Those are nice!" "Yes, they are. That little vixen of mine caught me by surprise again!" "These are from Andi?" George asked, looking at them. "Nice!" "Thank you! They actually match my watch she gave me!" I said showing them the watch. "The hell, dude? How'd you get so lucky?" "Good genetics, I suppose. Sorry about your luck, bro!" We all laughed. We gathered our suits to head back to the hotel. I so badly wanted to text Andi but didn't want to fall apart so I resisted. We were just getting back when Andi texted me that they were getting ready and to meet them in the lobby. There went my nerves. Shot. Stephano, seeing my face pale, asked if I was alright. "Yeah...I just realized we're closer to game time.," "Bro, do you love her?" "Yes, I love her!" "Does she love you?" "Yes." "Then stop worrying. You're just tripping yourself out. She's not like your ex. She genuinely loves you. It's going to be alright! I promise!" Stephano said. Wrapping me in a bear hug. George and Daman joined. "Guys...we're still in the lobby!" "Just some family love is all! Nothing to see her!" Stephano said loudly. I just rolled my eyes. "Thank you, brother! Now, let's go get ready before they beat us!"

When we were done, we went down to the lobby to wait as expected. I had just stepped back in from calling the cars when we saw the first girl...Mom. she looked beautiful! So youthful! "Ow owwww!" My brother yelled! "Who's that cougar?" I joked. Blushing, "Oh quiet! You're making a scene!" Mom scolded. "Um, I don't know if you've looked in the mirror...but you're making a scene! The boy's and I are going to have our hands full fighting the men off tonight!" Stephano joked. Mom slapped his arm. "You guys look great, too!" "Thank you! We know!" My brother c****d out. Next was Laura. My little niece! Not looking so little anymore! She was beautiful! George had to wipe back tears! Following behind her was Bria. She glowed just like her dress! George spun her around and whispered in her ear, making her blush and slap his chest. That ‘a boy, Georgie! Then came Katie. Stephano got all sorts of quiet when she came up. She looked gorgeous! My heart was pounding. That left mine. I could feel my palms get sweaty, so I shook them out. When Andi came around the corner, it was like the whole world stopped. She was stunning! She was elegant! Her dress hugged her body in all the right places. Her cleavage was begging to be let out under that cape. Dammit! I should have gone with a looser pant!

Andi blushed as she walked up to me. She smiled and said, "Do you like?" "Mmmmmm" I practically growled down at her. "You're breathtaking!" She leaned up and kissed me. Her hands taking my face into them. I could literally feel her trying not to put them in my beard. I laughed which made her blush more. "Later, baby! I promise!" I whispered into her ear! "Anthony!" I couldn't help but laugh watching her get all hot and bothered. Daman had his sister on one arm, and his Nonna on the other. The kid was strutting it! We took the arms of the ladies and escorted them out! Helping them into the cars. George, Bria, the kids, and Mom went in one car. Stephano, Katie, Andi and I in the other. Stephano and Katie sat on one side of the car. Andi and I on the other. It took all I had to keep my hands off of her. I think Stephano was having the same issue with Katie! "Andi...I don't know how long we're going to make it into the night with that dress on you!" I whispered into her ear. "Stop it! You behave!" She blushed. I kissed her neck. Wanting to taste her. She lightly moaned. "Anthony! Please! You're making this harder!" "Mmmm....you're making me hard!" "You're impossible, sometimes!" She roughly breathed out as I continued my assault on her neck. "Please! Your brother is right there!" "Mmm...he can close his eyes!" "Anthony Phillip!" she giggled out. My hand holding her breast. Then the car slowed to a stop. A groan escaped mine and my brother's mouths at the same time. Glancing over, I could see the two of them all hot and bothered too. We took a moment to collect ourselves before getting out of the car. I heard Stephano tell Katie he was going to rip her out of the dress later. It made me chuckle. That 'a boy, brother! I climbed out first and helped Andi out. I slapped her ass once she was standing and she groaned. Katie busts out laughing in the back seat. "Katie, I love you...but shut up!" Andi says which makes Katie laugh more and my brother questions them both. I just smile. I know why she groaned. And apparently Katie does too! Stephano takes a second to get out of the car. When he does, he gives me a big smile. I’m assuming he now knows why too. Andi's face is red. Katie hugs her and Andi says she changed her mind...she hated her...all while laughing.

We join the rest of the family and Andi and I lead everyone to the door. As soon as Andi stepped in, the whole place seemed to drop silent. The hostess comes and greets us. Good evening! I'm Anna! I'll be getting you established tonight! Right this way, please!" And then she leads us up the stairs to the VIP room. The room is exquisite! There's a big table with white linens on it and pale blue dishes. There are plants all over the room. There are two waiters waiting for us. We guys help the ladies take their seats. Andi takes off her cape and my whole body tenses. Her dress is strapless, and her cleavage is on point! I groan while behind her helping her get seated. It takes all I have to not run off with her right now. Thankfully, as we get seated, the waiters come and take our orders. When the one waiter gets to Andi, he leans down and whispers something in her ear. She nods and whispers back. She briefly excuses herself. I didn't think about this being one of her restaurants. I just want this night to be perfect for her. I feel my face flush. Stephano leans over and says "Breathe! Everything is going to be ok!" Andi walks back in the room looking calm and collected. She smiles at me as I move her chair in and out for her. "Everything ok?" I stammer. "Yes! He is a relative of David and wanted to make sure I didn’t hold any ill will towards him. I ensured him that was very much not the case as he's always been a great employee and asset to my place! So! All good!" I nod, happy that means my cover wasn't just blown.

The waiters bring out appetizers, then our soups, salads, and then our main course. Everything was exquisite! We were laughing and having a good time. My nerves had calmed down. It was great!

After the main course came dessert. I swear that was the best thing I've ever ate! The whole table fell silent as we enjoyed our desserts! Andi just smiled. After dessert we had a few drinks. Everyone was full. "Andi...don't tell me this is one of your places. I might not leave!" my sister let out. Andi laughed. "Do you like it?" "I love it!" Andi could see that everyone was happy and enjoying themselves! That made me happy!

As we died down, I started to get more nervous. The first part of what I had planned for tonight is to begin. The hostess comes into the room and announces our rides are here. Andi looks confused. "They're early. Please ask them to wait." "My love, it's ok! We can take a stroll around town! It's different at night!" I quickly add in. Mom thankfully comes to my rescue without realizing it. "Oh! That would be perfecto!" So I help Andi back into her cape, kissing her neck, and torturing myself in the process. f**k!

We walk the ladies down the stairs and to the door. Waiting for us are 4 horse drawn carriages. The girls get excited. Andi looks confused. I take her hand and help her into the carriage. Trying to hide my excitement. I smile at her when I take my seat. She looks at me and calls me out. "Did you do this? I didn't plan this part!" "Yes, I did!" I say softly. "Anthony! Thank you! It's perfect!" She gleamed. I leaned over and kissed her. Wrapping my arm around her shoulders. She leaned into me and we were off. The carriages took us through different parts of the city. When we were close to my planned stop, the other drivers went a different way as we continued forward. Thankfully, Andi didn't notice. Our carriage took us into a private gated garden. At the back of the garden was a pond with koi fish and flowers all around. Our driver stopped under some tress that had lights hanging from them. Creating the perfect romantic glow. Andi looked at me and smiled. "Why are we stopping?" "Mmm...you'll see!" I said, taking her hand and helping her out of the carriage.

I take her into the garden under the lights to a beautiful red bench. Her eyes are fixed on me. Trying to solve this diversion. I take Andi into my arms and kiss her. Her arms wrapping around my neck as I gently bend towards her. "Andi, I love you! You're amazing! This whole weekend has been perfect and could not have happened without you!" She blushes. "From the moment I first saw you walk into that B and B, I was hooked. My heart was yours! I was determined to make you mine! You've made me a happier person! You've shown me what it is to be loved and trusted and to love and trust! I am thankful for you in so many ways, my love. So tonight, I wanted to do something special for you!" Soft music started to play around us and I took Andi into my arms and slow danced with her. Her eyes never leaving mine. Her smile warmer, softer. I leaned my head into hers and sang softly along to the music. Serenading her. When the song ended. I leaned in and kissed her. Taking the taste of her into me. I forced myself away from her slowly and smiled. "I love you, Andi! With all my heart!" "I love you, Anthony! With all of mine!" Before she could continue, I took a deep breath and got down on one knee. She gasped. "Anthony!" "Shhh! Let me do this before I cry! Andrea Louise Russo, will you please give me the honor of being my wife?" I asked while holding up a velvet box to her. Inside was a 2 carat diamond that matched the one in her necklace, just bigger, surrounded by smaller diamonds. There were diamonds lining the sides of the band, creating a crisscross pattern. She gasped and started crying. "Yes! Yes, I will!" She wrapped her arms around me before I could put the ring on her finger! I stood up and took her hand, placing it carefully on her hand. It was a perfect fit! I leaned down and kissed her. Taking her into my arms. She passionately leaned into me, kissing me deeply. This was the happiest moment of my life! I felt on top of the world!

We stayed that way for a few moments before she leaned back and went "Anthony! Where is everyone else?" I laughed. "They should be coming back around soon! We should join them!" I helped her back into the carriage and crawled in beside her, wrapping my arm around her. She sat with her hands in her lap looking at the ring sparkling. "Anthony…?" "Yes, my future wife!" "The center diamond...it matches my necklace, doesn't it?" I chuckled, realizing she was contemplating how long I had had it. "Yes, my love. It does!" She looked up at me with tears in her eyes. "You're amazing! You make me feel like a princess!" I smiled and leaned in and kissed her. "Because you are, my love!" I whispered to her.

As we came to the gate, the other carriages had just passed. None of them had seen us so our carriage jumped in line behind them. "Does anyone else know?" Andi asked. I blew out a breath. Yes, they know I was going to ask you... I called your Dad and asked for your hand in marriage. John helped me set this all up. Peter was with me when I purchased the ring. Stephano, George, and Daman know as they've been with me the last 48 hours, and my Mom knows I was going to ask you...just not when!" I smiled back at her. "I can't believe you went through all that trouble for me!" "I love you! I wanted it to be special!" "It was! It truly was!" She leaned her head on my shoulder, smiling with her eyes closed, and her hand with the new accessory holding my arm.
