Chapter 21.

*Anthony's view*

"Mom, what'd you think?" I ask almost scared to know. She grabs my face and smiles. "She's beautiful, she makes you happy, and most importantly...she loves you! She's perfect, mi amore!" I sigh a breath of relief. "I’m so glad to hear you say that!" She laughs. "Mom, I want to ask Andi to marry me..." screeching, "Anthony!" "Shhhh!" "Sorry! Oh Anthony! I'm so happy for you, mi amore! When are you going to do it? Do you have a ring yet?" She asks. I laugh. "I'd like to do it this weekend. Yes, I've had one for a while. Ever since I came back from her parents B and B" I admit. "Oh, hunny! I'm so excited for you!" "Thank you, Mom!" I say as she hugs me. Andi suddenly comes in holding a big package. "Berta, I have something for you for inviting me into your home and making me feel like family!" She chirps. "Oh! Mi amora! You didn't have to!" "I know! But I wanted to!" She smiles. Mom sets down at the table and opens it. It's a beautiful painting that Mom recognizes as Primavera by Sandro Botticelli and a CD with the musical symphony to go with it, Trittico botticelliano (Botticelli Tryptich). Apparently, the symphony was written to the painting. Mom starts crying as she looks up at Andi. "Oh my goodness! Andi! Are you serious!?" "Do you like it? I remembered Anthony saying you love to paint and love music! I couldn't resist it!" "Like it!? I love it! THANK YOU, MI AMORA!" My mother cries as she hugs Andi tightly. Andi laughs as she hugs her back. Stephano and Katie come in.

"What's with all the tears, Mom?" Stephano asks. "Andi! She gave me a beautiful gift that I love and I just... oh Andi!" My Mom starts crying again. I stand back and smile realizing how much thought Andi put into that gift. She's amazing! "Oh my goodness!" Katie says looking at the painting. "Stephano! This is a Sandro Botticelli painting! Andi! How did you find this!?" She asks. "Well, I own an art gallery and always have new and old pieces coming in. I reached out to a few people, knowing what I wanted, and was able to procure it. This is one of my favorite pieces!" Andi said shyly. "Amazing! You're absolutely amazing!" Stephano stammers. "Andi! Would you mind our visiting your galley before we leave?" Katie asks. "Absolutely! I’d love it!" Andi beams. My mom looks at me and pulls me in, smiling. "Mi amore, you did good with this one!" She whispers to me. I smile and hug her. Smiling at Andi. Andi blushes as she continues talking with Katie.

As everyone else joins us for breakfast, we begin to discuss plans to go to Andi's art gallery. She excuses herself to make plans. "Anthony, I still don't know how you managed to swoon that girl, but you better marry her!" My sister states. My Mom smiles at me. "That's my plan!" I state quietly. Mom, Stephano and George grin at me as Katie and Bria look at each other in bewilderment. Andi comes back in grinning before they can ask anything. "Ok! It's all set! We have tickets for tomorrow's exhibit. I have rooms reserved for everyone along with dinner for tonight and tomorrow. Today I even have something planned for all of us! But that's a surprise!" "Oh Andi! You didn't have to do all THAT!" My mother gasps. "I know! But I want you all to enjoy this time!"

After lunch, our families pack up for the city. Andi talks Mom into riding with us. Mom gasps as she sees the Nissan. "ANTHONY! When did you get this!?" She stammers out. I laugh. "Yesterday! It was a gift from Andi!" I say, kissing Andi's blushing cheek. My Mom looks at Andi and smiles. Knowing that this was not a lighthearted gift. Everyone follows us out the drive and back to the city. Mom and Andi talk nonstop the whole way. All I can do is smile as I see Mom fall more and more in love with Andi. Mom asks Andi what all she does for business and Andi gives her a run down of the basics. Mom suddenly looks at me. "Anthony, Andi, I’m sorry hunny, Anthony...is Andi by any chance the young business entrepreneur you've been following for the last few years?" I laugh. "See! I told you I had a crush on you before I even meet you!" "UM, I think you said admired, not crush" Andi laughs. "Yes, Mom! Andi is in fact that woman. But I actually didn't know that until AFTER we got together after our vacation. It wasn't until I heard someone call her by her formal name that I realized it. Then I fell harder!" I say looking in the mirror at Andi. Her face is beat red as she smiles back at me. "Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!" My mom gushes.

It doesn't take us long to arrive at one of Andi's hotels. "My love, are we staying here or at the tower tonight?" I ask. "Here, of course! It's where the rest of the family is. We should be with them!" My Mom beams...falling harder. As we get out of the cars, bellhops take our bags and send Valet off with the vehicles. A girl named Wendy greets Andi as we enter. "Ms. Russo! Good afternoon. Everything has been procured. Edwin, Mary, and Chris will take everyone to their rooms and set them up with whatever they need". Three people step forward and smile. "Thank you, Wendy. I appreciate that." Edwin, Mary, and Chris introduce themselves to everyone and lead them to their rooms on the top floor. Wendy waits for them to leave and turns to Andi. "Ms. Russo, while you're here, may I discuss a few things with you?" "Absolutely. Let me get Anthony set up and I'll call you." "Thank you, Ma'am!" She goes back to greet more guests coming in. "Andi, this is too much! You're amazing!" She smiles, "It's just beginning, my love!"

Andi takes me up to our room on the top floor. Seems she has reserved the whole floor for our family. Daman and Laura even have their own rooms. Andi calls Wendy up and they discuss some things concerning the hotel. Wendy confirms our reservations for dinner. Andi goes to walk her out and I offer. She smiles and says ok. I quietly step outside with Wendy, carefully closing the door. "Wendy, do you mind telling me where Andi has dinner reserved for tomorrow night?" "I’m sorry, sir. I only know tonight's, as it's here." She says. I nod and say thank you, heading back in. After everyone gets settled in, we meet up and Andi discusses what our plans are for the day. Guys are golfing. Girls are going shopping. We meet back here for dinner. Everyone is excited! We split up into our groups and hop in the town cars Andi had called for us. I kiss her goodbye and thank her again for all of this. She smiles and says "I love you, Anthony Mozzeo! Have fun!" And hops in the car with the girls. When I get to our car and hop in, I pull my phone out. "The hell, Anthony!?" Stephano demands. "Shhh! Hello? John? It's Anthony. I need a favor!" "Absolutely, sir! What can I do?" So I tell him exactly what I need. All ears intently watching and growing wider with excitement. "Mr. Mozzeo, thank you so much for making me a part of this! I'll get right on this and meet you at the golf course when I’m done. Awesome! If you'd like, we'd love for you to join us, John." "Thank you, sir, but Sara and I actually have plans tonight so I need to be present for her!" "Are you sure I’m not interrupting you, then?" "Absolutely not! Sara isn't due home for another 2 hours which is perfect for me to do everything! I'll see you soon, sir!" "Sounds good, John. Thank you!" "Anthony! Do you already have a ring?" Stephano asks. I smile. "Yes, why do you think I'm setting everything up?" I chuckle. "Bro! I feel like screaming like a little girl for you!" We all laugh!

*Andi's view*

I took Berta, Bria, Katie, And Laura around the city. I told the girls that they were welcomed to buy on their own, but I insisted that I pay for two outfits. One for tonight which didn't have to be super fancy. And one for tomorrow, which did! At first they were reluctant, but Laura helped to change that quickly! I set her up in a beautiful full-length jumpsuit with a jacket and sandals for tonight. For tomorrow, we found her a beautiful sleeveless navy-blue dress with sheer fabric over it that ruffled at the neck. I paired it with a cute set of diamond studs and gold gladiator sandals. Berta, Bria, and Katie cried when she walked out of the dressing room. Laura spun around like a princess. "Mi Principessa! You look amazing! So grown up!" Berta cried! "Thank you, Nonna!" She blushed. Bria picked out a beautiful yellow sun dress and sandals for tonight and a beautiful white knee length dress covered in lace with lace sleeves. She choose a pair of gold heels to go with it. It complemented her golden skin perfectly! Katie choose a beautiful floral maxi dress for tonight with gladiator sandals and a black long drape dress with gold heels that matched a gold belt for tomorrow. She looked like a youthful goddess in it! Berta chose a floral flower wrap dress for tonight that perfectly hugged her mature curves. We all whistled when she came out of the dressing room in it, causing her to blush. "Oh, you all hush!" She exclaimed! For tomorrow she choose an ebony colored scoop neck chiffon dress. It came just above her knees and made her legs look amazing! She hesitated on it as she didn't get the same reaction when she came out of the dressing room. Looking up at us, none of us could say anything as we were all stunned by how gorgeous she looked. She blushed when she saw us all. "Is it that bad?" She asked. "Mom! It's gorgeous! You look amazing!" Bria stammered. "Really? You like it!" "Yes!" We all said at once. "Berta, I don't care what you say, that dress was made for you! I'm not letting you out of here without it!" I exclaimed. She blushed. "Thank you, mi amora!" For myself, I chose a navy blue 3/4 sleeve maxi dress with sandals. The necklace Anthony gave me looked exquisite with it and stuck out well. "Oh Andi! You look beautiful! Where did you find that necklace?" Bria asked. I blushed. "Anthony bought it for me!" I gleamed. "Ooooh!" They are giggled! For tomorrow I picked out a black strapless, sheath lace, fitted dress with a sweetheart neckline and a matching Sheath lace cape to go over top of it. I choose a black pair of strappy heels to go with it. When I walked out, everyone gasped. "Mi amora! Anthony is going to die when he sees you in that!" Berta exclaimed. I blushed and said thank you. It again, showed off the necklace perfectly. Which was part of my reason for choosing it. Bria called me out on that.

After we had our outfits, Samuel, our driver, took our bags to the car and we continued walking around town shopping. Everyone had a blast! I took them to my favorite sushi place for lunch. As we sat and ate, I sent Anthony a text message. When we had stopped at Victoria Secrets, I had tried on a strapless black lacey push up bra and thong boy shorts to go with my dress tomorrow. I may have sent Anthony a sideview picture of my butt, flexing and posing of course! I immediately got a reply. "Mmmmmm. Don't you tease me like that! I will make everyone in that hotel hear you scream tonight, my little minx!" I giggled and sent him back an innocent face emoji. "And what are you blushing and giggling at over here?" Katie giggled. "Oh, nothing. Just texting Anthony!" I said. "Mmmhmmm! Right!" Bria and Katie giggled. Thankfully, Berta and Laura didn't hear.

After lunch we decided to head back to the hotel to swim. In our spa downstairs, we have two pools. I called ahead to reserve the VIP one for our family. We were just getting back when the boys pulled up laughing. We sent the bellboys up with our bags and the guys followed us up to the rooms to change for the pool. When we got to our room, Anthony was quick to close the door. Securing the lock behind him. I smiled deeply. Knowing what was coming.

"My little minx. My principessa! You have had me on fire all afternoon with that picture you sent me. Do you know how badly I golfed after that? I lost $200 to Stephano because of that! I had mimosas and beer brought down for us as well as virgin mimosas for Daman and Laura. They frowned when they were told they couldn't have the alcohol ones but still enjoyed theirs anyways. Laura, Daman, Stephano, and Anthony all enjoyed jumping off the diving board and doing tricks for a while. George, Berta, Katie, Bria, and I swam and lounged around enjoying everyone. Soon The others joined in the pool and it was just Berta and I lounging back, enjoying our second thing of mimosas. "Andi, I want to thank you. This is all stuff Anthony could have easily done for us but you did it yourself. After only having met us a day before. You have put so much thought and care into this. I really cannot thank you enough!" Berta says. Blushing, "Berta, it's my pleasure! I love doing stuff like this! And it gave me a great chance to get to know all of you! And a chance for Anthony to spend more time with all of you! It makes me happy seeing him and you guys happy!" Berta took my hand and squeezed it. "Mi amora, you're perfecto! I'm so happy Anthony found you! I couldn't have asked for a better person!" She smiled, tears welling in her eyes! "Oh, Berta! Thank you!" I leaned over and hugged her. Not noticing Anthony watching and gleaming from ear to ear.

After a while we decided we had better get upstairs and get ready for our dinner reservations. We all scooted off to our rooms and got ready. While out, I had Katie, Bria, and myself pick out outfits for the guys today. We picked put nice pants, shoes, and shirts for the guys. All of them looked dapper! Anthony and I quickly showered and I did my hair up. I pulled it up into a messy, curly bun. I put my maxi dress and shoes on and walked out of the bathroom into the room to see Anthony already dressed in his navy blue button up shirt, black pants, and navy blue shoes. He moaned when he saw me walk out. "Woman, you are going to do me in today!" I giggled and asked if he liked it. "Yes, very much. But I'd like it more if it was on the floor! Hey! You have on the necklace!" I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Yes! I always have it on! I only take it off to sleep and shower...and workout." "Mmmmm good! I'm glad you like it still!" "I love it, Anthony. I love you!" I whispered to him as he took me into his arms, his head against mine. Dinner was beautiful and everyone had a wonderful time. With buzzes going, we decided to call it a night around midnight and head back up to our rooms. Anthony almost ran getting us down the hallway. I giggled the whole time. Knowing what was coming.
