LOST AND FOUND
Daric raised his collar against the driving rain and made his way to the eastern portal. His mood softened somewhat at the thought of Casco, finally asleep, but the horrible mistake he’d made denied him that respite and so he’d appointed himself a mission – to find the missing berries before the navigator arrived. Once the rest of the Host exited the Chime, there would be chaos. He wanted the issue solved before any new problems arose. It was one thing he thought he could deal with. One thing he might be credited for when credit became scarce.
