I stood in the training room, bouncing on my feet and shaking out my wrists. My ponytail bounced as I did. I had asked the boys to help me with my training. Gerard, Dylan, and Lionel all warmed up around me, while Ezekiel stood straight-backed at the front, watching us.
I stretched my arms, legs, and back. Some of the boys did push-ups and other simple exercises. I took after their example, doing a few jumping jacks, then getting on the floor to do push-ups. I just hoped none of them were looking up my shirt. After we were done warming up, Ezekiel paired us off for sparring.
“Gerard, Dylan, you two pair up. Lionel, Rhea, you as well. You'll be going first."
