Dennis had verified the coordinates he had obtained with the GPS by means of the usual astronomical procedure not so much because he distrusted the former but because he felt sympathy for the use of the sextant.
“We are practically on the border with China.” He said in a low voice.
"There is no sign in view of the limit." commented Debbie in a gesture of surprise.
“What did you expect in the midst of these solitudes? A welcome sign in several languages?"
“Don't be rude."
Regretfully the man came over and kissed her on the forehead. At that moment Bodniev appeared behind them; obviously the Siberian had heard Dennis's comment.
“I'm going out for a while, while you prepare dinner."
“It's getting dark, do not take too long." Warned the worried woman.
