Evan smirks at my reaction as he maneuvers the car to a familiar route.
I turned to him and hissed angrily. "You shouldn't have done that!"
He was clearly enjoying my reaction. "Are you embarrassed by me?"
My cheeks turned red. "No. I'm just... uncomfortable with people suspecting us. What would they say after seeing that scene?"
"Nathalie, you have to chill," he grins from ear to ear and glances at me. "I was just taking you inside my car. What's wrong with that?"
I fell silent after that and just enjoyed the green scenery of the road. Evan was weighing the reaction on my face. As soon as he pulled over to my favorite Burger Station near our house, I looked at him.
"How did you know this place?"
He smirks and said, "Just a gut feeling that you would love it here. Come on," he said
