Today was the day of Darcie's departure to Paris. She was chasing her dreams. People might look at her and think that she's being selfish right now, leaving her brother when he was in the hospital, but I think she's doing the bravest thing a person could do. She can't put her life on a halt undetermined. She loves Simon, and she cares greatly about him, but that doesn't mean she's going to be by his bed every day of her life until he wakes up. It would be selfish of Simon to want her to do that. And if no one else knows Simon, she does.
So she's leaving me to look after him, trusting me to watch over him and take care of him. Give her any updates about his condition -she bought a new phone for me- and just overall keep her in the loop.
