CHAPTER 5

ELIZA 

I took a deep breath and I  felt Logan wrap his arm around me 

'' My mom died when were babies and my dad died when Elijah and I were 13 .we were close before but then we became insepreable . we took care of each other . he was my other half you know .  Five years ago Elijah found his mate Jackson 's daughter Hayley . '' i said and looked at Logan and gestuerd for me to continue 

'' Jackson didn't like him . so I thought it was odd that Jackson wanted to meet him  I told that to him but he just laughed it off and told me to be positive like our blood '' i chuckled rembering his lame jokes 

'' like your blood ?'' Logan asked frowning 

'' it's our blood group '' i said 

'' oooh '' he said realisation dawning on him 

'' yeah he obviously didn't get my sense of humor '' i said 

'' really ? '' he said raising an eyebrow 

'' you'll find out '' I said .and i swear he was going to kiss me .

'' anyways .. what happend after that ?''  i scowl at him before replying 

'' he didn't come home . he always comes home but he didn't i searched everywhere for him and  we didn't find him ,I went to Jackson to confront him and i know it sounds crazy but i sensed him that he was hurt . when i asked him about it he said Elijah attacked him and he beat him but he he let him go as he was his daughter's mate . but i didn't believe him .i think he .. he '' i choked on a sob . Logan hugged me close making me feel a tad better . 

'' i think he killed him '' i said after some time 

'' you think Jackson killed your brother ?''

'' yeah ''  his eyes glazed over like he mind linking someone but i didn't ask him . he just held me close . we sat there like that. with me wrapped in his arms i felt safe ,peaceful . i must have dozed off beacuse i was awoken when Logan moved away .i slowly open my eyes to see logan at the table arranging dinner for us 

'' what time is it ?'' i ask and he walks over to me and says 

'' dinner time '' he says sitting down and putting our plates on the table in front of us 

'' yeah i couldn't figure that out wiseass ''

'' you're the only one to call me an ass i should punish you for that '' he says 

'' really what punishment would that be ? '' i ask leaning in . our lips are a breath away as he whispers 

'' don't tempt me Ellie I can't control any longer '' i don't know what came over me but i really wanted to kiss him so i said '' then don't '' before closing in and kissing him . Maya was howling with joy in my head and delightful sparks were rushing over me . he growls and pull me closer . i turn and straddle him so that i'm in his lap with my knees on either side of his hips and open my mouth and his tongue sweeps into my mouth .i moan into his mouth and press my self closer to him and his hands squeeze my waist before they slide down to lift the hem of my dress when he abruptly stops and i open my eyes which i didn't even realize were closed to see his eyes glaze over before he looks at me .he looks as though he was trying to decide  something 

'' what ? '' i ask 

'' i need to tell you something ''

'' it better not be that you you have a girlfriend '' i don't know what happend it just slipped out 

'' looks like someone is jealous '' he says grinning at me . 

' god he's so sexy ' i hear Maya say and reply 

' i know '

but then he gets serious again and says 

'' its about your brother ''

'' what ?''

'' i don't think he's dead '' 

'' did you just say ..?''

'' yeah ''

Elijah .. my brother .. my twin .. my other half could be alive ?!
