CHAPTER 9

ELIZA

I woke up feeling stiff and aroused... ? I quickly realize why that is . I'm wrapped in Logan's arms and we're both on the couch I try to move a little to get up but end up tumbling down and taking Logan with me causing him to wake up with a start

'' whoa whoa what happened '' he says

'just look at him so sexy ' Maya purrs

' sexy ? he's a goofball ' I say

' a sexy goofball ' she says

I shake my and look at him and burst out laughing

'' what ? '' he asks with hands on his hips

'' nothing ..''

'' tell me Ellie '' he says pouting like kid trying to convince his mom for one more piece of pie .

'' this '' I say waving at him

'' what '' he asks

''well this, sometimes you behave like an i***t i find it hard to believe that you're a prince ''

'' I'll try not to take offence on that '' he says sitting the couch . i get up and go sit beside him

'' I didn't mean it like that''

'' then like what ?''

'' you're a prince you responsibilities you have so many things to be worried about and you are but when we're alone you're relaxed ,all the stupid s**t going on in the world doesn't affect you even if it does you let it go and just be yourself you can be carefree when you want and I can't do that ''

'' well if you want to relax all you gotta do is ask me and I'll help you babe ''

'' yes but I can't relax until I've found him '' I snap and he pulls me close . I inhale his scent which calms me .

'' we'll find him '' he whispers

'' stop saying that !'' I yell at him and push him away '' stop saying we'll find him because I want to believe you and if we don't ......... I trail off. he pull me onto his lap and touches his forehead to mine '' we'll find him ok ? I'll move heaven and earth to find him and even if we don't I'll be here for you I'll always be here '' he says and kisses me . it wasn't a kiss it was more like a promise .one that warmed my heart . he pulls away and looks at the time . it says 9: 30 and he jumps up pulling me with him .

'' we're late ''

'' about that ..'' i try to convince him to go alone cause most probably he'd break up her and she wouldn't want an audience . I mean I assume she wouldn't cause I wouldn't

'' nope you're coming '' he says in a tone that doesn't leave room for much arguements , I sigh and say '' fine just give me 10 minutes ''

and I go upstairs to get changed .into one of the new dresses we bought which are more me meaning black

I go down and find Logan leaning against the car with a cup of coffee to go in his hand . he sees me and starts checking me out I shake my head at him and ask

'' like what you see ?''

'' yeahh'' he says and pulls me into a kiss .he pulls away and sighs

'' figured you might need it '' he says . I just nod and take it and sit in the car. Logan walks over to the drivers seat and gets in

'' look I'm sorry ok ?'' he says

'' why ?'' I ask surprised

'' because I was let's face it a playboy before I found you now look what happened '' he says

'' you don't need to apologise and it's not like I'm a virgin either I've slept with almost half the pack's warriors and nothings happened yet we don't know why she wanted to meet you '' I say and take his hand give it a reassuring squeeze an smile at him . he smiles back and starts to drive

' I'm going to kill that b***h if she tries to take our mate ' Maya growls

' we didn't even meet her Maya '

' well I can already tell she's a b***h '

'how ?'

'your wolf senses ' I say on the verge of laughing

'yeah the spidey sense in that marvel movies Elijah used to see all the time '

' yeah I never really got why he was such a fan of them I mean they're good but not that good ' I say

'yeah he was obsesed with them even Maddox was ' she says sadly .

'I miss them ' I say

' I miss rolling around and biting Maddox ' she says

' yeah I miss that too ' I say with a chuckle

suddenly I feel something warm against my cheek and realize that it was Logan wiping away my tears

'' what's wrong baby ?'' he asks

'' nothing I was thinking about what stupid assed stuff Elijah would say right now and how Maddox would growl at him for saying that '' I say smiling sadly .

''who's Maddox ?''

'' he's Elijah's wolf '' he starts to say something when his phone rings loudly . and guess what his ringtone is a woman shouting

PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE YOU ASSHOLE

he hears it and says '' damn you Sylvie '' he hisses and picks up the phone

'' Logan .. uhh where are you ...'' a woman stutters

' I bet it's that b***h ' Maya growls

' I don't think so I think she's afraid '

' she better be I am going to rip her to pieces for trying to take our mate '

' calm down Maya '

Logan waves his hand in front of my face

'' what ?'' I say swatting his hand away .

'' let's go we're here ''

'' okay '' I say and take a deep breath and get out of the car . Logan takes my hand and intertwines his fingers with mine . I look at him and say '' it's going to be fine '' and give him a reassuring smile well at least I hope it is . he gives me a nod and leads me inside a coffee shop . as soon as we enter everyone looks at us well they're looking at Logan since everyone recognises him and me well they probbly think me his flavour of the month . we find an anxious looking young woman and and equally anxious looking guy and Logan drags me to them 'I'm gonna kill her ' Maya growls

' she's afraid Maya '

' why would she be afraid ?'

'I don't know maybe she's in trouble and wants his help you know he is the prince ' I suggest

' maybe or maybe she's gonna steal him from us '

'Maya .. ' I start but I'm interupted when Logan clears his throat

'' Ellie this is Janet and Janet this is Eliza my mate '' Logan says . Janet's eyes widen and they breathe out a sigh of relief

she turns to me and smiles and says ''nice to meet you '' I manage to smile in return despite Maya's growling .

'' why did you wanna meet ?'' Logan asks in a cold voice that surprises me . I mean I've seen him talk to others with authority since he was a prince and all but this is new . she clears her throat and with some encouragement from he guy beside her she says

'' I wanted to meet to... well break up with you since I found my mate but since you did too I don't think it's neccesary do you ?''

'' you wanted to break up? '' Logan asks with relieved chuckle . poor guy he's been really dreading this .

'' I thought you already broke up ?'' I ask Logan

'' I did ''

'' apparently not '' I say

'' when ?'' jane .. no i think it was Janet asks

'' a week ago I called you , you weren't repliying so I left you a message and since you didn't call me back I thought you were okay with it '' Logan says

'' I am ''

'' wait so you didn't get the message and thought you were still together and you .. I mean your highness thought that she wanted to get back together '' the guy till now who was silent says and we all look at him and I realize .it is

'' Josh ? '' I ask him

'' took you long enough '' he says turning to me with a smirk

'' sorry I was uhh distarcted '' I reply

'' I bet '' he says . I try to slap his arm and he catches me

'' still can't beat me '' he says

'' oh I can '' I say

'' not how it went last time ''

'' ONE time I lost okay besides that was after I ... '' I trail off and his eyes soften

'' I'm sorry '' he says and hugs me . and I swear it's not even a second before our mates tear us apart and he laughs and says

'' relax babe I don't like her that way besides there is no way in hell I can tolerate her that much ''

'' ha ha very funny '' I say

'' soo you two know each other '' Janet says

'' yeah we were in training together ''

'' you're an alpha ? '' she asks

'' no a beta , they kinda train together you know '' I reply

'' right '' she says . Logan takes my arm and says '' well nice to meet you alpha josh but we gotta go we have plans bye'' and walks off with me and once we're both near the car we look at each other and burst out laughing hysterically

'' why ... would ... you.... think ... she's ... pregnant ..? '' I manage to choke out between laughter

'' I don't know '' he replies and we start laughing again

'' did you bite him or what crazy pants '' Josh calls out and I turn to yell something at him when Janet says

'' that's enough let's go or you'll tear each others heads out ''

'' uh uh he won't be able to cause I'll do it first '' I say and Logan chuckles and says

'' right bye '' he calls out and we get in the car and drive off and burst out laughing... again !
