CHAPTER 3

I wake up with my head feeling like someone's having a very loud party in there . I try to sit up and groan . 

a nurse comes and says ''let me help you sweetie . there you go '' she says as i sit up . a doctor comes in and  checks me and asks '' how do you feel '' 

'' like someone's banging my head '' he chuckles and says ''yeah well it's to be expected''  i reach around my neck and ask '' where is my chain ?'' 

the nurse replies '' i didn't know who to give it to so i gave it to the beta '' suddenly i realize i have no idea where the hell i am 

'' where am I?''

  '' you're in a hospital '' doctor says 

''which pack ?'' i say and just then the guy from yesterday comes and says 

''you're at the palace ''

''the palace ?!'' at the wave of his hand the doctor and nurse leave and. the guy gives me my necklace with Elijah's ring on it .i snatch it up and ask him 

'' who are you ?'' 

'' I'm Hayden well technically Beta Hayden ,''

'' you're a beta ?''

'' well not yet cause logan's not king yet ''  i nod in realisation that i am in the future king's palace .jackson's nephew .

' we're doomed ' i say to maya she dosen't reply

'' what's your name ?'' he asks 

'' shouldn't you already know that  since you were following me ?''

'' you're good eliza '' he smirks 

just then a gorgeous guy comes in and maya who was quiet till now says 

'MATE ' and my eyes widen as do his . 

'' hayden leave us '' he says and 

'' oh logan i miss all the fun '' hayden says and pats  him on the back and closes the door behind him 

'' please tell me you're not prince logan '' i say 

'' i won't cause i am '' he sits on the bedside chair and takes my hand in his and tingles run up my hands and asks '' do you have a problem with that ? '' 

'' i don't as long as you don't mind that i am going to kill your uncle '' i say 

' way to make our mate hate us ' says maya 

' i'm just being honest '  and the he says the something i did'nt think he'd ever say 

'' I do because you won't kill him I will '' he says looking into my brown eyes with his golden brown ones .

LOGAN

I could see she was shocked . after a few seconds she asked 

'' you do know that i'm not joking '' my mate said 

'' of course neither am I'' i say  her brows forrow and she asks 

''you're talking about Alpha Jackson right ?''

'' yeah the one and only '' i say with disgust and she looks behind me and she frowns and it hits me 

'' you're talking to your wolf ?'' i ask in shock 

'' yeah  is somethimg wrong ''

'' no it's good '' 

'' yeah right '' she snorts '' i could totally tell that from your face '' she say sarcastically .she's soo cute when she's being sarcastic . 

'' no no it's just that doc said that you were pumped so full of wolfsbane you shouldn't even be alive right now let alone talk to your wolf and be all cute ''

'' guess i'm just lucky then '' she shrugs and leans in like she drawn towards me and asks '' you think i'm cute?''

'' yeah '' i lean in too and ask '' what do you think ?'' she leans in her lips a breath away and replies with a glint of amusement '' i think i'm cute  too '' 

'' oh really '' and i pull her onto my lap and she groans from the sudden movement 

'' you okay ?'' i ask her worriedly and she nods and snuggles closer to my chest and inhales my scent giving me a whiff of her intoxicating smell of rain and lilies . i pull her her legs over so that they are hanging over the arm of the chair and put my arms around her . '' what's your name ? '' i ask suddenly 

'' you don't know ?'' she asks looking up at me with those big brown eyes. Hayden always refer to her as the  beta she wolf so i didn't know '' no ''

'' Eliza Mathews .but call me Ellie ''

''okay .Ellie '' i and say and she grins at me . and then bites her lip and i immediately pull on her lip with mine .by body erupting in fire at such a simple contact and i say '' don't do that ''

'' can i ask you something ?'' she says 

'' anything sweetheart '' she blushes at sweetheart and asks '' why do you wanna kill jackson ?''

i sigh .i knew this was coming but thankfully i don't have to answer as Hayden comes in and ooks at me raising an eyebrow 

' MATE' i mind link him  and he  grins at us 

'' look at you '' he says wiggling his eyebrows 

'' what ? '' i ask 

'' doc says she can go  home ''

''ok '' i say and she groans 

'' are you pain ? '' i ask worriedly she shakes her head and says '' no i just rembered Cam's  gonna be pretty pissed at me for leaving '' i growl at the name Cam and she chuckles and says '' easy boy . he's my alpha '' 

Hayden chuckles and says '' she's already got you wrapped around her finger '' i just glare at him and turn to my mate 

'' you go get changed .Hayden brought some clothes and we can go home ''

'' home ? you mean the palace ?'' she asks 

'' no my home .our home '' i say and put her down .she's a bit wobbly on her feet so i ask 

'' need help ?''

'' no i'm fine '' i nod and say 

'' i get everything else ready and wait for you outside '' and drop a kiss on her forehead which is easy considering she's pretty tall almost equal to my 6 ft height  she'd be 5'11 maybe . i walk out with Hayden and close the door 

'' she tell you anything ? ''

''no'' 

'' you tell her ?'' 

''no ''

'' tell her '' he says patting my back 

'' i will ''

' you better ' growls don my wolf in my head
