Robert’s hands continued their tender exploration of my skin, sending shivers of delight through my body. Just as I began to lose myself in the moment, a sudden knock on the door jolted me, my heart racing with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. “Julius, bro, you took your sweet time,” Maximus’s voice rang out, light and teasing, as he swung the door open with a grin. Julius stepped into the room, his gaze locking onto me with an intensity that made my breath hitch. His eyes were filled with a mixture of awe and possessiveness, as if he were beholding something truly extraordinary. He approached slowly, his presence both commanding and soothing. “Why are you all here?” I managed to stammer, my voice trembling with confusion and a desperate need to maintain control. Julius’s eyes softened as he took my hand in his, his touch gentle yet firm. He drew me into an embrace, his warmth enveloping me completely. His gaze never left mine, filled with an unspoken promise and a deep, almost reverent adoration. In the midst of this overwhelming, intimate moment, I felt the stirrings of my lupo, urging me to accept the bond, even as my rational mind struggled to catch up with the whirlwind of emotions and sensations. In an instant, I snapped back to myself. With a power I hadn’t known I possessed, I bellowed, “MOVE!” My Alpha voice, a rare gift usually reserved for males, echoed through the room with an authority that made the walls shudder. The triplets stared at me, their faces a blend of shock and awe. Maximus’s eyes widened, his usual bravado momentarily eclipsed by genuine surprise. Robert’s brows furrowed, a look of disbelief crossing his features. Julius, still holding me, seemed entranced but deeply unsettled. The guards, alerted by the tremor in my voice, rushed in. I moved with lightning speed, shifting into wolf form and swiftly ushering the intruders out of the room. My wolf roared in fury, a storm of emotions raging within me as I fought to regain control. I quickly changed back into my human form, my breathing ragged as I glared at the closed door. The weight of my power and the exhaustion from the night’s events left my head pounding. The knowledge that I wielded an Alpha voice—traditionally a male privilege—brought with it a mix of pride and confusion. “Women don’t have an Alpha voice, do they?” I wondered aloud, the words hanging heavily in the air.
