As they waited for her arrival, Juan, suspecting the look on Alice's face, believed she wasn't coming in peace. "She probably wasn't coming after us," Juan said, looking back at Aaron and kissing him. She stylishly covered his eyes with her hands as Alice passed by without uttering a word, staring at them. After Alice departed, Juan removed her hands from Aaron's eyes. He was shocked as Alice could no longer be seen, then he looked to his left and saw her entering her friend's classroom. "How did she get to that place just now? And I thought you said everything is settled? Why did she walk past us just like that?" he asked Juan, looking at Alice. "I told you, she was traumatized and finds it difficult to talk today. Besides, we were having a private moment, so it was necessary for her to give us space," Juan defended. "Oh, okay... but don't you feel it's odd?" he asked, and as Juan was about to respond, Aaron interrupted. "If so, then we should go meet her. We have a lot to talk about," Aaron said, but Juan disagreed with him. "No, that isn't necessary for now. Whatever we are talking about should be at home, not here in the school. Just save your words for later," she advised, and Aaron nodded in agreement. "Okay... then I should go home now and await you two," Aaron said, which sounded insensitive to Juan. "Why... leaving me behind? After all, it's not yet time for closing," she replied, gazing at her wristwatch. "I have reasons why I need to go home. I'm having bad feelings today, and I didn't sleep last night. Right now, I'm feeling so sleepy. I can't stay," Aaron replied, blinking his eyes, clearly showing signs of sleepiness. "Seriously...? So you meant it that you didn't sleep at all last night?" Juan asked, placing her hand under his jaw. "Yesterday was something else. I just hope that I didn't hurt more people because after my wolf form took over me, I never realized where I am and the actions I took till today's early morning," he replied. Then Juan widened her eyes being so much bothered, knowing so well that something must have gone wrong again. "Aaron, did you not remember anything at all? Like sense any of your movement?" She asked. Aaron waved his head in response then she breathes out in a sigh of relief. "Aaron, you have to try harder. It's getting more difficult day by day," Juan said, her voice showcasing how traumatized she is. "You obviously do not know how hard I kept on trying to control this thing, but it's becoming almost impossible," he said, as Juan took in a deep breath. "Did you not notice anything at all last night? Not a single thing during your movements?" Juan asked repeatedly and placed her hand on his shoulder. "The only thing I noticed was that I fought, I mean my wolf fought," he replied, causing Juan to widen her eyes. "With who?" she asked. He shook his head. "I don't know," he replied. Juan then shut her eyes and touched her face a little before looking at him once again. "Aaron, that must have been the people we got the news on our TV that they were massacred comfortably in their home by an unknown monster," she said with a low, frustrated voice. Upon hearing that Aaron was left with no statement as he took in a deep breath. "I need to rest. I have told you that," He said after few seconds of being silent. "Are you going home with me?" He requested and began walking away with a broken heart. "Aaron, wait, please," she interrupted and held his hand. He gazed at her face. "It wasn't your fault. You tried your best, but please, you need to stay by my side from now on. If you were with me yesterday, that couldn't have happened," she said, and Aaron nodded his head in agreement. "That means you will have to follow me home. I can't stay. I need to go home and have some sleep," he said, still determined to go home. Juan looked down, thinking of what to do. After a moment of silence, she looked at him again. "Can you come with me to my classroom? I have enough space for you to sleep without being disturbed," Juan suggested as they gave each other a funny look. "You think that's okay?" he asked, and she nodded. "Of course, after class, we can go home together," Juan replied. Aaron agreed and went in with her. •After The Class• Juan and Aaron stepped out from the building as they headed home, joining the stream of students leaving for the day. "Why did you say that we shouldn't wait for Alice?" Aaron asked as they headed towards Juan's car. "We can't wait for her. I mean, there's no need to wait for her. We both came with our cars, and even if we wait for her, we will still drive separately till we get home," Juan responded, while Aaron remained silent. It seemed like he suspected something. Juan noticed and halted, gazing at him. "What?" she asked, and he shook his head. "Nothing, just that it's so unusual of you to go home without her," he remarked. Juan said nothing as they reached her car, and they both entered and drove home. Upon arriving home, Aaron was exhausted and headed straight to his room to relax. Juan, knowing he must be very hungry, entered the kitchen to prepare meals not just for him alone but for all of them, including Alice. As Aaron lay on the bed, unable to sleep and filled with thoughts about what Juan had said concerning the news she heard in the morning. It's no doubt that she's right, he is obviously the one behind that action. As he contemplated he believed that finding a way to get rid of the "wolf" within him will be the best option. While grappling with his thoughts, he heard a car pull into the compound then he stood from and looked through his window and saw that it was Alice. "There she is," he muttered to himself in a low voice, then relaxed back on the bed. After a few minutes, he felt compelled to go and talk to Alice about her problem with the Dark Crown gangs and how he could help keep her safe. He quickly arose and headed straight to Alice's room. Upon arriving, he knocked several times, but Alice didn't respond. "Alice...? It's Aaron! I want to have a word with you," he said, but received no response. He sensed that she heard him but probably didn't want to talk to him. Slowly, he opened the door and stepped in, only to notice that Alice was inside the bathroom taking a bath, the sound of splashing water was well audible. "Oops," he muttered, ready to leave, but was drawn back by an envelope he saw on her bed through the reflection of the mirror. He looked at the bed and saw the envelope on it. He glanced at the bathroom door once again before heading towards the envelope. It looked fresh, indicating that Alice had placed it there just after returning from school. He slowly picked it up, opened it, and found a white paper with a short note. "I'm still the devil, you forgot? That's why you believed I'm the right man for the job done. My mercy for you has counted to 99%. Provide the deal as agreed, or you join them at the underworld. Then you lose all! 6 days left!" Aaron read, and was left puzzled.
