7:30 a.m.
I sat at the edge of the bed in the Tanyi's mansion knotting my tie.
This is the weirdest thing I am about to do. Like for heaven's sake, I've always wanted my wedding to be grand, at least, not big as the word may signify, but then, I wanted the world to know that I am getting married and not this clandestine wedding which is about to take place.
Although it was a contract marriage, I still had little butterflies dance around in my stomach, it was awkward especially as I didn't feel anything for Daisy. I am far from that reality.
I wonder how people are going to look at me now, especially when I return to town and I have to explain to everyone that comes my way that Daisy is my wife.
I heaved a sigh.
