12 After the police left, Tom ran to the bathroom and threw up. He could hear footsteps behind him, so he cleaned the sink and washed his face. He looked up into the bathroom mirror to see Vic in the doorway. “Listen Tom, how about the four of us go out to Doyle’s for dinner? We need to forget about all this. We could do with a night out.” “With these black eyes?” He smiled. “They make you look tough. Come on, how about it?
