I checked my reflection in the mirror and held my hand over my mouth in awe. The flawless makeup on my face, and my flowing white dress got me really nervous. I sat up and adjusted my poise. To my satisfaction , I looked really elegant.
“You are such a stunning baby.”
I heard my father say, he had stood behind me all along, my eyes met his from the mirror reflecting, and I smiled warmly at him. Relief flooded my heart that I wasn’t alone.
