I could feel it, her intense gaze on me, not that I hadn’t seen it coming when she walked in on Jarvis and me. Primrose shifted in her seat, but her gaze never left me, the expression on her face was contradictory.
A mixture of disdain and wonderment.
“Miss Williams, can I have a word with you?”
I turned around slightly to face her. Of course, I shouldn’t feel guilty. I haven’t done anything wrong. I am an adult, so whoever I date shouldn’t matter to a mere colleague.
