"My head hurts!"
Tom s complaint is what I finally heard after a deep sigh. After work, we headed straight to 7/11. Engineer Dionysus and Zoe were still left on the site because they said something still needed to be finished.
My stomach was full of alcohol, and I could still feel it.
"You re just drinking a beer. . . that s not even enough," I teased the man before I quickly laughed.
I ve been with Tom a few times. A few times, we have been together over drinking. He s a good guy, after all. One more thing, he ll automatically be my driver.
