Many people say they work better under pressure. The impending deadline forces you to work, and I was guilty of a few days just running on adrenaline. Sometimes it has its place, but it is not a suitable strategy for lifelong purposes. When I think about my long-term goals and plan for growth, I prefer to give myself space to do it slowly.
You should give yourself the grace and time you need to slowly build what you want to do. Slowing down gives yourself space and energy to enjoy what you are doing.
There is no need to hurry, because good things take time.
