Ryan’s POV
As I step into our meeting place, my buddies have all arrived. They sit around a desk, playing chess. The two players are Griffin Pike my Gamma and his little sister Diana. While the chessboard holds their full attention, Cy Blake, my Beta play his usual role as an observer. He says nothing but sits there, watching them play the game. I can never be as patient as him. If I were the person in his position, I wouldn’t be able to hold back the urge to comment on the moves the players make, even though I am not a genius chess player.
Cy is the first one to notice my presence. He greets me with a smile,“Alpha.”
