Joy’s POV
The moment I walk in the classroom and sit down, I know something is off.
For the whole morning, Ryan’s top fan, Diana the cheerleader and her follower Sue keep glancing in my direction. I catch them watching me few times and they would pretend everything is normal by averting their eyes and looking back at the black board.
I tell Daisy about my discovery. She panics for a second and then gives me an I-told-you-so look, muttering, “You shouldn’t have stuck out your head to attract any attention. Now trouble could be on its way.”
“I didn’t do anything to attract attention.”I argue.
