I walked to through a hallways admiring the painting on the wall."There you are, I've been searching everywhere for you"!A voice spoke from behind and when I turned around it was dad.I frowned,he was the last person I wanted to see now.But what can I do?I came here to work anyway.
Come with me I need to make some introductions"He said indifferently,and I followed him without a word.we moved back to the dinner room,and walked towards a couple.They looked so familiar,and the closer we got to them,the more I realized they were the Arison's.They were the exact same people I saw on my phone.my eyes widened in realization,I was speechless,"Oliver!"Dad greeted the man" Austin!"he called dad's name excitedly as they shook hands...
"This is my last daughter Rose Gale the one we talked about!" He said placing his hands on my shoulder"Good evening sir and ma'am"I smiled sweetly"No no you should normalize calling me mum from today come here!"she gestured her hands for a hug as a warm and welcoming smile graced her lips, and I hugged her.i was confused by her reaction,but I tried not to over think anything.
She' s looks like her mum!"Mr Oliver said "it's just like Carie re-created herself again,hahaha"Mrs Arison's laughed,dad couldn't say anything all he had to do was nod in agreement."Well Rose Gale meet Mr and Mrs Oliver Arison's your new mother and father in law!"He said with a smile.
it tooks two seconds for his words to sink in my brain"What!?I asked.Dad sighed and we excused ourselves ourselves to a more quested place"I hope what just happened out there was a joke father? I asked irritated Rose think of what this marriage would do for us"he said"What!?Us?,You have enough money Mr"I was getting really angry now.
"Besides when was the last time you thought about us!?"I bit my lips hard pushing back the tears that threatened to fall from my eyes.i just could not believe what was happening.
Dad sighed before speaking "Mr Oliver asked for this favor,he needed to prove to his shareholders that his son was more than capable of handling his company,and he thinks marriage is the only solution.and an investment is ours don't worry he's already working on convincing Willbert"He said.....
Willbert has bee handling his company for years now, everyone knows he's more than capable,so what other impression does he have to make? you're saying these to make me see reasons in your unreasonable points"I said.
"Rose you know these union is more beneficial to you and your mom, marrying into money is every girl's dream",he said "have you lost your freaking mind dad,those can be other girls dream but not mine."I said sternly "don't make these harder than it already is Rose, someone like you can't even find love from a natural course,you should be grateful I decided to help you out, besides Oliver has been a good and a helping friend to me,they're good people!he said stoically.

anyone!". I said and he laughed out loud

have any right to cancel the marriage"
Hahaha, he laughed again.
"You are already Willbert's wife from
the day you signed those contract. Why
do you think you were treated like a
princess. The Arison's are the most
powerful families not only in New York,
but also one of the most powerful
families in the world how are you willing
to escape from them?" Hahaha, he
laughed again " I think it's time to
accept who you have become my
princess" He added smiling Brightly
showing all his 32 teeths as he turned
around to leave.
"Why're you doing these?" I said as
tears threatened to fall from my eyes.
He paused on his steps. "You left me all
these years and now you try to sell me
off cause of your selfish interest, what
happened to Belle and Daina are they
not your daughters too? I hate you and I
don't think that!|l ever change!" I ran
away from him as fast as I could, my
heart was full and I was finding it
difficult to breath, I just needed the
perfect place to let everything out.
On running my phone rang, I tried to
bring it out of my purse and *boom* |
hit something hard and my phone fell
out of my hands. I bent to pick it up that
was when I saw a pair of black well
polished shoes standing in front of me,
I picked up my phone "I'm sorry, I did
not see...." I trailed off as I saw who
was in front me.
He was wearing a black trouser and a
black shirt opening the first three
bottoms of his shirt, his six packs
where in display and the gold necklace
he wore suits his white skin tone
perfectly. He moved closer to me until
my back clash against a wall, I was
forced to look at the man who has
pinned me against the wall. Sure he's
one of the most gorgeous people I've
ever seen, but his wolfish grin took the
icing on the cake. With the way his
black eyes glinted with anticipation he
knew the effect he had on me and he
made no effort to hide it.
He's so tall that he's body towered over
me but he leaned in till our faces were
inches apart. As if he gave me a once
over, before settling on my lips. I gulped
softly, every breath he breathe out sent
shivers to my body. I looked at him
silently with my swollen red eyes.
Damn it, he had trapped me like his prey
but instead of flight, my senses were
dangling with excitement. The betrayal!
His warmth, his scent... I didn't
understand why but it made me feel
safe.
"Rose.! He called my name with his
deep cold voice that wrinks of power
and authority. But the sound of my
name in his mouth sent chills to my
body. I was still wondering how he
knew my name.
