Sophie was about to get up to find her mystery man when the fasten seat belt light turned on. It was too late. As far as she knew he could be gone or later debark from the plane as soon as it landed. She couldn’t let him leave like that. She wanted more of him. She wanted to hold him and lose herself in his touch. He was a part of the wonderful world that she was leaving and yet desperately wanted to remain within. As the plane pulled away from the terminal she found that the seat next to her had remained empty. He would see that she had saved it if he looked back. And as the plane approached the runway, she began to feel a stress overcome her about what would happen with them next. If he didn’t come back, for her, it would be as if even the fantasy of an easier life was unobtainable. She
