Chapter Twenty-Two Aaron looked around his packed backyard. When he’d bought the house, the backyard space had seemed a bit large for his needs, but he’d liked the idea of the pool and hot tub. Now, it almost seemed too small. He’d been dubious about hosting a barbecue in November in Colorado, even if the month had just started. Rose’s mom had assured him that if they needed to switch to indoors, they could do so easily, and that the covered porch would be fine to barbecue under, if needed. George had gotten four outdoor heaters for the space and brought them over two days ago. Fortunately, the weather was cooperating, and though it was chilly, it wasn’t unpleasant to sit out in the sunshine and talk with the townspeople. And there were a lot of townspeople.
