It was late noon , muffled voices was heard from outside the ward where Iris was stationed, her eyes slowly opened ,she winced in pains forcing her eyes to adjust to the brightness in the room as tears flowed from her eyes ,it was as a result of the light.
Iris felt as if she had been in a deep sleep for years as her brains felt numbed and her memory blank , her body was very light , her eyes scanned through the small ward ,she brought her hand to her nose trying to remove whatever it was attached to it , her hands too was attached to a drip .
